Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on June 19.
Two TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Pakenham & Canberra.
Canberra: Race 6 @ 3:35pm
There is early speed across the barriers with a number capable of leading. POLAR STAR (5) came back from town beaten 1.6L here riding the speed, and then was beaten a lip this class at Kembla Grange chasing hard. She will be in the firing line all the way from the low gate and like Olive putting Penza on. CALESCENT (9) was a touch disappointing first-up behind Prince Jacko, and then made amends winning the 66 by a big space at Corowa as a well-bet favourite. The filly peaks now and the 3kg claim brings her right into it. KISS MY SWISS (2) has won 3/4 first-up and will have plenty of admirers. She's quick and gets the handy 2kg claim back in grade. The enigmatic PRINCE JACKO (8) may be the best of the Dryden trio with McDougall going on. SELECTIONS: #3 Polar Star looks a solid each way bet at the $6.5 morning quote.

Pakenham: Race 4 @ 2:00pm
Yulong Town gets the rail and can run them along. FORLIAH (8) came here and improved sharply for the leading yard placing heavily-bet behind Haleakala. She can win today with 20% stable-striker McNeil going on. POLANAISE (9) has placed the last two and is ready to win. Draws low and will get every chance with Stackhouse taking over from the apprentice. PASSAGGIO (4) peaks and got close at Donald after a wide run. He won't be far away. REDEEMED (10) may be best of the rest. SELECTIONS: #8 Forliah looks well-suited and can go one better.
