Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on June 26.

Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Moruya, Scone, Geelong, Gold Coast & Toowoomba. 

 

Gold Coast: Race 9 @ 4:05pm

 

 

There's good early speed in this with three or four capable of leading. TRACY MAY (10) has the speed to manage the sticky gate and impressed leading and winning the Maiden by a space resuming at Doomben. The former Waller galloper has more up the sleeve and can win again for Gollan with the in-form Maloney sticking. RUN FOR GLORY (3) is a stablemate who has also switched yards. Placed at Newcastle the latest racing handy and has won fresh. He's trialled and keep him very safe from the low gate. DUNEAGLE (8) resumes for the Waller yard bringing NSW form. He will use the rail and gets the blinkers on. The recent trial here was sharp. OSAYCAN (14) gets a wide gate, but can build on the deserved Maiden win. SELECTIONS: #10 Tracy May races well second-up and rates to be winning. The stablemate the quinella.

Moruya: Race 1 @ 11:25am

 

Raven's Rabbit and Bonhomie to press forward in a keen contest early on. SIFU (8) was popular in betting on debut last start and just failed to land the prize over this trip at Canberra, launching late to get within a head of the winner. Won't find this quite as tough and with some natural improvement should be opening her account. RAVEN'S RABBIT (6) has been kept fresh since failing as odds-on favourite first up over 908m at the Sapphire Coast eight weeks ago. Ran a good 2nd here at this trip last prep - big chance if she found that form. WILFUL SOUL (10) has filled a minor placing at both runs this prep, most recently over this course and distance six weeks ago. Will need a bit of luck from a wide gate but cannot be left out. RED KANZI (7) disappointed on debut last start at Wagga but with blinkers on today can improve sharply. SELECTIONS: #8 Sifu looks a nice bank-builder to kick off a big card.

 

Geelong: Race 5 @ 2:30pm

Sanbuck can run them along. REGARDSMAREE (1) has been threatening in much better city races and is suited back to a 64. Has to come back from the from the mile, but has had a month away and Melham takes over. She should have an edge. INSPIRED SUN (4) did a big job resuming beaten 1.1L after missing the start. Raced favourite at Swan Hill after that and was a touch unlucky in a blanket finish. Gets a low gate and John Allen today and should go close. SANBUCK (7) came off a string of near misses to lead and win the Maiden by a space this track. That stacks up and he gets the chance to repeat with a weight dip. RENOUF (8) resumes an easy Donald Maiden winner and has more to offer. Draws low and Yendall sticks. SELECTIONS: #Regardsmaree is very well-placed.
