Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on July 15.
Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Cranbourne, Eagle Farm, Belmont & Gawler.
Eagle Farm: Race 6 @ 3:30pm
A ton of early pace headed by Archer's Paradox. ROCK BEAT (3) is a very consistent sprinter resuming after a 30-week spell. Raced twice over this trip last prep for two wins, including a dominant first up victory at Toowoomba in a Class 4. Two runs at this circuit for two wins; three first up runs for three wins. Has the perfect profile. ARCHER'S PARADOX (10) was handy all the way and was only vanquished close to home over 1050m at Doomben last start. Distance specialist who will be in the firing line for a long way. DESERT MAN (12) peaked late when unplaced over 1200m at Ipswich recently. Best form comes at today's trip so can improve. WIRNPA (7) has won 5/16 at 1000m, including a Class 6 at this track three runs back. Beautifully drawn and worth some thought. SELECTIONS: #3 Rock Beat ticks every box.

Cranbourne: Race 3 @ 1:35pm
There’s a lack of early pace and a moderate tempo is anticipated at best. LUNAR FLARE (3) missed a whisker at the mile and then came to this trip and grade at Sandown and recorded a good win. She peaks now with Oliver sticking and rates to deliver again. TYSONIC (1) was back to her best just missing at Geelong in the 64 hitting the line well. She draws to get a soft run and should go close with the extra fitness for a star yard . RICE QUEEN (9) is also in good hands and brings a strong figure from the nose defeat on the synthetic. She gets in light with the claim and the longer journey won't bother her. TOVOLO GAP (6) was heavily-bet winning the Maiden on the synthetic at the mile and is a Peter Moody improver to keep safe. SELECTIONS: Will stake both the #3 and #1 to win. In Race 5, #2 Diode should get the chocolates.
Gawler: Race 7 @ 3:35pm
Aquanaut and Maybe Gravity look the pair to run them along. CARBONE (1) seeking the hat-trick off easy wins at 58 level. He can settle handier today from the lower gate and looks well-up to deliver again. LIPPSY SHUFFLE (2) is feared presenting off the 1L defeat in Saturday grade. He also gets a much better gate and deserves the win. AQUANAUT (4) led beaten 1.8L at Gawler and then was wide and okay after in stronger again. He's better placed today and is a chance pushing forward. GRAVITY (10) was tracking well before the latest when run over late this grade from the speed. He's in the mix. SELECTIONS: # 1 Carbone gets the nod in a good contest.
