Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on July 28.
Three TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Taree, Moe & Cairns.
Moe: Race 8 @ 4:45pm
Barossa Kiss and Zhenya may be the pair to run them along. CHATELAINE (2) brings strong form from better grade to peak and she's been having no luck at all. She's in a form yard and rates the one they have to beat with a good ride from the wide gate. More open the rest. RONNANI (8) made sharp improvement winning the Maiden at this trip in town. She may go on with it now with Walker sticking and is an each way hope. INDIANA STAR (5) won well this grade second-up and can build on that. John Allen sticking is a plus. REAL THINKER (6) missed a lip at Moe the latest and is well in the mix with a repeat of that. SELECTIONS: #2 Chatelaine should have these covered.

Taree: Race 5 @ 3:35pm
A few of these like to press on early so the pace should be genuine. ILLECEBROUS (3) made it two wins in a row when she showed a lovely turn of foot in the final furlong to win with authority over 1100m at Grafton last start. Proved her heavy track credentials with a tough win at Port Macquarie the run before in a race that has turned out to be a strong form reference. Yet to achieve her peak from last prep so there is improvement to come. FLASH PALACE (10) followed a placing over this course and distance two starts back with a disappointing effort in a 1400m Rosehill Highway recently. Better placed back to this trip and won't find today's assignment anywhere near as tough. Worth another chance. TYPHOON BONNY (2) wasn't disgraced when midfield in a bunched finish over 1200m at Grafton recently at Class 6 level. Boasts an outstanding top-three strike rate and back in this grade is sure to play a major role. OCEAN RULER (4) has switched stables and is first up from a 21-week spell. Has had his problems of late but if right is certainly in the mix. SELECTIONS: Some key scratchings leave the way clear for #3 Illecebrous.
Cairns: Race 7 @ 4:55pm
Narda Shar may be the one to make the pace from Brilliant Mind. BRILLIANT MIND (6) missed 1L resuming as favourite and then was heavily-bet leading and winning the CL2 here by a space. The extra 100m suits and he clearly rates to win again with the weight relief in this grade. RUBY RED SOCKS (3) won on the same day in the 69 and is an improver looking for the hat-trick. She draws well and is the danger. BORELLA (4) was good two-back at Townsville and won't be far away recapturing that. His racing style suggests he will run the trip out. GROOVY PLAYMATE (9) always needs a good ride but may be best of the rest at a price. SELECTIONS: #6 Brilliant Mind can win this and go on.
