Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Tamworth, Ballarat, Ipswich & Canberra.

Tamworth: Race 8 @ 5:00pm

Expecting a solid tempo. XIAOLI'S YING (2) is a promising type. Resumes from a spell and as evidenced by her two recent trials, she hasn't gone backwards. Stretched the neck of a few promising types last campaign. Greg Ryan takes the steer and she should be too classy for this lot HENSCHEL (3) chalked up back to back wins at Dubbo and Bathurst last campaign. He's untapped but its worth noting Greg Ryan was aboard for majority of his starts last prep but will partner Xiaoli's Ying in this. SKARA BRAE (5) hasn't been beaten far in Highway grade his past couple. Race fit and with open air on straightening should be competitive.  I'M ON BREAK (1) best of the remainder. SELECTIONS: Xiaoli's Ying to end proceedings.

Ipswich: Race 4 @ 2.35pm

Star Barista should find the early lead. LADY BRAHMOS (3) won her maiden by panels first up over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast. Tackled Saturday class three-year-olds on a heavy track at Doomben last time and wasn't up to the task. Back in a more suitable race today and can return to winning form. RHYME TIME (4) returned from a 16-week spell with a tough maiden win over this trip at Toowoomba recently. Lightly raced mare who can go on with the job. VIVID FORTRESS (8) won in town last prep so has the ability to test this field. Won a recent trial at the Gold Coast suggesting a big run is on the cards despite coming off a 16-week layoff. I'M KATE (2) has been freshened up since a poor run at Warwick five weeks ago. Form before that was sound so worth another chance. SELECTIONS: #3 Lady Brahmos to bounce back to winning form.

Ballarat: Race 7 @ 4:00pm

Nangawooka can lead from Inside Edge and they will run along okay. SENSITIVITY (3) won comfortably twice on the synthetic before tackling harder in Adelaide on the slow and disappointing. The well-bred mare will get a soft run from the rail and can bounce for a star yard back to this surface. GREGORIAN CHANT (8) has had one blip in a string of close-up efforts and there was nothing in it on the Pakenham synthetic the latest. She gets a low gate and Egan is re-united. NANGAWOOKA (1) led and missed a lip the above venue in the 58 and was even better three-back this grade at Sale. He can control the race from the low gate and the 3kg claim brings him right into it. ARZANI (6) reaches peak and got closer at Geelong after a slow off. He may be best of the rest. SELECTIONS: Expecting #3 Sensitivity to bounce back.

Canberra: Race 7 @ 4:05pm

Riot Act and Prince Jacko will be prominent from the jump. RIOT ACT (8) comes to peak seeking the hat-trick and has been winning comfortably from the pace. His figures stack right up and the promising galloper gets weight relief in this grade. He should make easy work of the tricky gate and is the one to beat. WICHITA WARRIOR (6) was disappointing in town and then made a ratings spike winning the CL2 easily at Goulburn as the market expected. This is a step-up but he's an improving local who will get every chance from the low gate. AWAY SHE GOES (7) powered home from the back winning here first-up at this level. The back-form is good and expect her to see out the mile this time around. CASINO TIME (11) won over a trip on the same day by a space as favourite. He's never raced better and is a chance back to the mile given a good tempo.SELECTIONS: #8 Riot Act may provide the betting edge. The rain as come and that won’t bother him or the danger #6 Wichita Warrior.
