Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Albury, Scone, Pakenham & Mackay.

Albury: Race 1 @ 1:35pm

The strongly fancied Scalded has enough dash to stride to the lead and dictate. SCALDED (7) improved sharply last start at the second run of the campaign, leading only to be cut down in the dying stages over 1200m at Canberra. Handled the heavy going on that occasion. Very fit now and in a thin field should be too strong. BREAK ON THROUGH (2) is a Hallowed Crown four-year-old on debut for Mitch Beer. Has not been seen since finishing a close 2nd in a trial here in February. Blinkers go straight on so they mean business. BOURIS (1) battled on evenly for 3rd but was never a threat last time out over 1180m at Gundagai. Gets through the mud okay - definite top-three contender. FOXY KIM (5) wasn't beaten far on debut at Forbes and is open to plenty of improvement. SELECTIONS: #7 Scalded to win.

Mackay: Race 3 @ 2:00pm

Expecting So You Dream to set a genuine tempo. SO YOU DREAM (4) is fast and controls from the rail. Matched his best beaten 1.5L at Townsville two weeks ago at this level and looks well set up to take this out. EXTREME WITNESS (5) needed the run resuming but is sharp second-up and is well up to this at best. Butler stacks and will use the low gate. LE DUDE (2) won as expected and then lost a plate as favourite before a forgive run after. Back to this trip suits better and he's in the mix with the handy 3kg claim. DON'T DOUBT LARA (8) won twice here and then was beaten off going to Toowoomba and forgive. She will get a soft run and a bounce wouldn't surprise on the 10-day return. SELECTIONS: Competitive racing all day. #4 So You Dream ticks most boxes in Race 3.

Pakenham Synthetic: Race 6 @ 3:30pm

A genuine tempo with the speedy Kosowski leading the way. KOSOWSKI (1) is fast and has missed a whisker here both runs back. He draws to advantage with a 3kg claim and can break through on the 8-day return. SHOTGUN ROSIE (2) is back in grade and the fancied stablemate is scratched. She can improve sharply briefly freshened. RUTH'S BOY (5) has just missed the last three at this level but needs to manage a much wider gate today. GOROKAN EXPRESS (9) beat the above the latest and will get every chance to go on. SELECTIONS: #1 Kosowski gets the favours and is the one to beat.

Scone: Race 5 @ 3:40pm

Expecting a strong pace with Smart Ain't He and Bouwmeester taking up the running over Rockness Angel and Mr Perfection. SHINING EAGLE (2) led but couldn't finish the job and clocked-in 4th in a Class 2 over this trip at Dubbo last start. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and drops back to a Class 1 today. Should prove too strong for this lineup. OUT TO LUNCH (3) won his maiden in a head-bobber over this distance at Tamworth last time out. Lightly raced four-year-old with plenty of scope for improvement. ON THE FLOOR (11) raced on the speed and battled on fairly to finish 5th over 1280m at Gilgandra recently. Back in grade and better placed over a little more ground today. ROCKNESS ANGEL (7) is fresh from a tough maiden win over 1300m here last start. Back in good order this prep and can take that next step. SELECTIONS: #2 Shining Eagle to justify the short quote and win.
