Moruya: Race 3 @ 2:40pm
Fever Tree has good early speed and can set a genuine tempo. SCARLEO (1) missed a lip resuming at Goulburn and then was well-supported at Randwick and didn't have the best of it. He's fitter and has more up the sleeve. In the form Canberra yard and will take beating with Ford riding. BOOM AND ZOOM (4) came hard to just missed second-up on the heavy. Gets a good track today but he also has more to give and McDougall's booking is a decent push. FEVER TREE (5) led and impressed placing at Rosehill in much stronger and will take pegging back using the rail. FRANCISCO PIZARO (2) has been freshened by the Canberra barn and keep a close eye on the late market with him. SELECTION: #1 Scarleo is lightly raced and fitter can win at country level.

Tamworth: Race 2 @ 2:20pm
Meyisti expected to set a solid tempo. MEYISTI (1) missed a nose second-up running favourite and still has more up the sleeve. He will push forward and roll along and the in-form Bullock rides first time. The one to beat. HURN COURT (3) has placed here both runs and will be better again. Buckley gets off the above to stick but will need to be at his best managing the wide gate. WE ALL AGREE (2) rated okay first-up at Nowra and has switched yards. Jennings rides and that's a plus. SPRING NYMPH (11) will push forward and is going well enough to fill out the first-four. SELECTION: Keen on #1 Meyisti who's placed 4/4 and should be winning third-up.

Hamilton: Race 6 @ 4:00pm
It's not clear-cut who leads after the scratchings. SALOME (8) missed a nose resuming on the slow as favourite for a star yard. She raced well in much stronger than including in Adelaide in the heavy and fitter should be winning pushing forward with Allen sticking. STAR FINDER (1) has been knocking on the door and can make the finish in easier with the 2kg claim and a good ride from the rail. MISCHA (3) resumes off city races and Rawiller's booking suggests she will be ready to go. CALIFORNIA SUNSET (5) comes back to the grass and has been knocking on the door. Seasoned and has to be kept onside. SELECTION: #8 Salome should have an edge.
