Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Hawkesbury, Lismore, Sale & Ipswich.

Hawkesbury: Race 5 @ 1:50pm

Looks a solid tempo as Explosive Truth strides to the front. EXPLOSIVE TRUTH (1) should take a power of beating. Resumed in a handy race at Kembla Grange a fortnight ago and was only mowed down in the shadows. Form out of that should hold up. Bound to take significant improvement from that and will dictate on his terms from the outset. The testing material. YULONG CODE (7) is an interesting runner. Beaten a length in town when last sighted after coming from a long way back. He's had two strong trials to prep him up for this. Still a colt and the obvious danger with even luck. SPRING CHARM (8) best of the rest. SELECTIONS: Explosive Truth for the win.

Sale: Race 2 @ 1:30pm

Genuine tempo with the speedy Mr Stack and Innocent Gem the likely speed. WEGOBAM (14) looked the part the first preparation and the promising filly is back and will be ready to go. Gets a senior hoop and the sticky gate won't bother as much this track. SQUAMANZER (5) just missed at Swan Hill on debut and it was a decent effort. Keeps Mott and fitter looks a player at a price. FAVELL (12) will be better for the first-up run and showed enough in town last campaign to say this is winnable freshened. Pike rides first time. PEREGRINUS (13) is in a leading yard and has trialled solidly for the debut. Nolen's booking suggests the Dundeel colt is ready to go. INNOCENT GEM (6) can control the race from the low gate. Peaks back to the grass off the two placings and is a lesser hope. SELECTIONS: Looks a good stepping-off-point for #14 Wegobam.

Ipswich: Race 6 @ 3:50pm

Okay tempo with Boom Girl and Applecross likely pacemakers. BOOM GIRL (4) made a ratings spike missing a lip at the Sunshine Coast. She runs along and fitter will take plenty of pegging back with a red-hot hoop aboard. APPLECROSS (1) resumes off a Doomben trial win and will come back further improved. He will push forward from the sticky gate and can prove the threat. OOZES CLASS (7) has been away for a while but has trialled and is a chance if the betting says she's ready to go. AWESOME POWER (3) resumes for the Currie yard and expect her to be improved. The late market the guide with her as well.  SELECTIONS: #4 Boom Girl can improve again and win. Wary #1 Applecross the quinella.

Lismore: Race 6 @ 4:05pm

Solid tempo with several sitting handy but expecting Fabricator to find the lead. TIVOLI STREET (3) is ready to strike third-up. Made up plenty of late ground at Murwillumbah last start behind See It Thru. Set to peak here third-up. Has a class edge on this lot at best and should come into his own stepping up in trip. NOTHINGFORTHEPRESS (1) has gone close on multiple occasions this time in. Back on a firmer deck will assist him. Obvious danger. TORRENS (2) has won four from seven overall. Lost his way last time in and was immediately spelled after just the two runs. He's got the inside alley and any improvement wouldn't shock. PRIMA STELLA (7) best of the remainder. SELECTIONS: Tivoli Street for the win.
