Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Warwick Farm, Bendigo, Ipswich & Northam.

Warwick Farm: Race 5 @ 3:45pm

ROCK AMORE (4) fell just short of making all when second over 1550m at Canterbury last start. Has looked good without winning so far this campaign. Should be at his peak fourth run from a spell. NIGHT WITCHES (8) has placed in each of her two runs this prep. Settled back and was making good late ground when placing at this course last start. Appeals third up and out to the mile. JACK THE LAD (9) showed good improvement on his debut when shedding his maiden at this course. Up in class and distance on that outing. Gives the indication he is up to the task. ROYAL MARINE (1) has won each of his two starts back from a spell. Building a solid record and can make it three from three so far this prep. SELECTIONS: Rock Amore gets the nod at the each way odds.

Bendigo: Race 2 @ 2:00pm

Moderate tempo with Ultimate Edition making the pace. ROUSSEAU (12) has been close-up the last two and didn't have much luck the latest at Geelong as favourite. Peaks now and Oliver's booking is a decent push. He shapes the one they have to beat. BLACK PENN (8) resumed off a near miss in town and was beaten less than a length as favourite and had a wide run. Fitter now and he can be right in the finish. EXALTED CROWN (9) was 2-1 on debut at Wodonga and placed after a very wide run. Draws the outside but will have come on and can't be discounted. ULTIMATE EDITION (13) ran along just missing at Benalla and Lane is booked. Another who should appreciate racing the mile. SELECTIONS: #12 Rousseau looks suitably placed by the Waller yard.

Ipswich: Race 5 @ 4:40pm AEDT

Expecting Still Invincible to find the lead but under plenty of pressure. MCCOVEY COVE (3) was an impressive winner over this distance first up six weeks ago in a Class 1 at Doomben, coming from well back on the bend and putting a good gap on his rivals. Lightly raced and loaded with promise. Trainer Vandyke and jockey Maloney are in outstanding form and, as a combination, win 40% of the time. Freshened up and clearly the one to beat again. PULL ANCHOR (6) came with a powerful finish to score by 2.5 lengths at Eagle Farm over this trip last time. Distance specialist with two wins and four placings from six starts at six furlongs. Cannot be underestimated. STILL INVINCIBLE (4) ran below expectations last time over 1400m at the Gold Coast, finishing eighth and beaten 6 lengths after leading. Worth another chance coming back in trip. The lightly raced FINAL DECLARATION (7) led but couldn't hold out Pull Anchor when resuming at Eagle Farm last time out. Can close the gap considerably with that run under the belt. SELECTIONS: The promising #3 McCovey Cove to win again.

Northam: Race 4 @ 6:40pm

Pace only fair with Special View a likely leader. CELEBRITY WITNESS (10) peaks and rates strongly off the nose defeat here third-up. Keeps getting better and should be winning at the mile drawn to advantage. SPECIAL VIEW (7) had been well-trialled but was a well-beaten third on debut at 1700m. He's in a top yard and expect quick improvement with that under the belt. TWENTY EIGHT ROCK (5) has had a few tries but has threatened a couple of times and won't be far away. RAG 'N' BONEMAN (1) is on the improve and the 2kg claim brings him into it. SELECTIONS: #10 Celebrity Witness should have an edge.
