Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Ballarat, Cranbourne, Port Macquarie, Canberra & Sunshine Coast.

Port Macquarie: Race 1 @ 1:25pm

The well fancied Girls Kick On expected to set the tempo. GIRLS KICK ON (2) makes her resumption to racing. She went a long way in a short period of time last time in, including a narrow defeat at the hands of Zeftabrook in the Wellington Boot. Lovely trial in readiness and she'll be set fly from the get go. The one to catch. UNDENIABLE (3) is a threat. She's won her past two, either side of a spell. Resumed at Bathurst twelve days ago and was too classy for a moderate bunch. Building a handy profile and she's well-placed from the inside draw with the lightweight. GRATED COCONUT (4) got too far out of his ground here last start. He'll need to be on the ball today racing some better types but has the ability to settle closer from the draw. LUCKY SHADOW (5) for the exotics. SELECTIONS: Girls Kick On to kick off Cup day.

Ballarat Synthetic: Race 6 @ 4:00pm

Strong early tempo as Pierro Rose and Simon Says lead the way over Shadow Prey. SHADOW PREY (8) impressed last time with a 2.3 lengths win over 2000m on turf in maiden company. Lightly raced gelding with improvement to come at the third run back from a seven-week let-up. Can take the next step. PURE EXCELERATION (3) settled midfield then finished a little too well at Tatura recently over 1980m. Racing very well at present and although his all-weather form is a bit dusty he looks to be a real threat. PIERRO ROSE (10) was on pace throughout when runner-up over 1600m at Swan Hill last start. Fitter for two runs back and ready to get beyond the mile for the first time. SIMON SAYS (6) backs up six days after battling on steadily to a midfield finish over 2050m at Murtoa. Lightly raced five-year-old who will race on the speed and keep finding. SELECTIONS: Impressed by #8 Shadow Prey last time - can win again.

Canberra: Race 6 @ 4:40pm

Expecting a solid early tempo with Eaglehawk, Appetizing and Mohahna all prominent. MOHAHNA (7) seeks the hat-trick off the big win here 9-days ago on a worsening track. Cruised through it in front and he keeps getting better. In good hands and can take the next step with the weight relief. HOLY SUNDAY (2) has just missed twice since the Scone win including at this track on a slow surface. Also gets some weight relief and Jennings' booking suggests they mean business. HELLO CHINA (8) is much better than the form line suggests and is a swimmer. Missed a lip in August this trip on the heavy at Kembla in a 64 and that would just about win this. EAGLEHAWK (5) peaks and was just nutted here on the slow 9 days ago at the mile and his only middle distance run reads well. SELECTIONS: #7 Mohahna looks well- placed to win again.

Sunshine Coast: Race 5 @ 9:00pm

Strong early tempo with several going forward. Bonaparte, Consular and Main De Foi will be prominent. AMAZINGLY (3) has just missed both runs back and there was only a lip in it at the Gold Coast the latest as a heavily-bet favourite. He draws well and can go one better. GOLDNEALA (7) improved again just missing here two weeks ago racing handier. She has more up the sleeve and will go close finding her best. MAIN DE FOI (6) resumed improved and then was plainer beaten 2L at Ipswich. Gets the rail and winkers first time and a bounce is likely. BONAPARTE (2) brings a string of placings and won't be far away again back up to the mile. SELECTIONS: #3 Amazingly will be fitter again and ticks most boxes.
