Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on October 21
Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Randwick-Kensington, Geelong, Ipswich, Narracoorte & Ascot.
Geelong: Race 4 @ 2:10pm
Murillo has good speed and can take up the running. OCULAR (10) is a promising galloper who's won 2/3 this preparation the latest in the Bendigo 70. The form stacks right up for this and he can repeat in this grade with the substantial weight drop. MUSIC ADDITION (6) can come over and stalk the speed and presents off two near-misses with the latest at Randwick in stronger. Zahra's booking is a decent push and the gelding is a serious player. STREET ICON (7) hasn't been far away in Group and Listed level. He's suited and will get his chance. WICKLOW TOWN (12) is promising and resumes off the near-miss in the Caulfield Open 3. Goes fresh, gets the low gate and Oliver and is 2/3 this trip. A definite player. SELECTIONS: The favourite will be hard to roll but #6 Music Addition looks an each way bet and the decent odds.

Randwick Kensington: Race 3 @ 3:10pm
Small field but decent early speed on up front with Royal Marine and Rock Amore each prominent. BETHENCOURT (4) is showing good early promise. Has improved with each career outing to date, winning his latest over 1350m at Wyong. Rises in class and distance however is certainly bred to appreciate getting out to this trip. GONE BYE (1) made a solid return when fifth at this course over 1400m three weeks ago. Will be fitter and is yet to finish out of the money in two prior second up outings. ROCK AMORE (7) has been consistent without winning this prep. Now gets Blinkers back on. Should be prominent. ROYAL MARINE (3) was slow away and ridden upside down last start. Prior to that had been working through his grades nicely. SELECTIONS: Backing Bethencourt.
Naracoorte: Race 5 @ 3:40pm
Solid tempo with Just Jilted coming over and leading. GRAVITY (9) has just been beaten the last three at provincial level. Raced favourite at Gawler the latest beaten 1.5L after a wide run and can go one better in country grade. BOSSY BRITCHES (3) resumes off a good preparation. Will be better over longer but is likely to be presented more forward today and is a player of she is. QUIET CLASS (1) resumes and is a lightly-raced galloper who's likely to have come on. CARTIER TIARA (7) has been racing in town and the first-up effort was good. Keep her well-onside. SELECTIONS: #9 Gravity is suited and can beat the favourite.
