Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for October 29.
Gosford: Race 5 @ 4:35pm
Expecting Absolutely Foxy and Invincible Kiss to find the lead with some pressure. GIDGEE GUY (2) won the CL3 from the back and then just missed this grade coming home well again. He draws well and after the scratching is the one to beat reaching peak fitness. HIBISCUS LADY (1) resumes off a Randwick trial and is sharp fresh. She's up to this and gets in well with the 3kg claim. INVINCIBLE KISS (3) just missed resuming off the Maiden win and will be fitter. Well-bred and is a hope. ABSOLUTELY FOXY (9) has plenty to give second-up and also has claims. SELECTION: #2 Gidgee Guy ticks most boxes in a good contest.

Cranbourne: Race 8 @ 5.00pm
Loads of early pressure engaged here with Make It Quick and Adki prominent. TOFFEE DOLL (10) has been well-bet both runs back for the new yard and has more to give. Needs a good Stackhouse ride but fitter she rates to be winning in this line-up. INDEPENDENT ROAD (1) resumes and brings strong figures from longer races and it wouldn't surprise if he's wound up for this. Is in good hands and the draw and claim help. MAKE IT QUICK (17) was heavily-bet winning the Maiden by a space and is a promising galloper who will get every chance to make it a double. DEEP BREATH (6) led and didn't let down on resuming on the heavy track. Had come off the all-the-way Sandown Maiden win and has to be considered with the extra fitness. SELECTION: A good contest but #10 Toffee Doll shapes like the winner.
Northam: Race 4 @ 6:35pm (AEDT)
Genuine tempo with Kick A Goal Son finding the front with a few pressuring close at hand. KICK A GOAL SON (4) brought sharp trials to the debut and missed a whisker this venue and trip. Gets a form hoop and won't have to improve to be winning. SCORPION STORMZ (1) trialled well and placed here on debut. He draws out but can make the finish again building on that. GHOST WHO WALKS (6) debuted at Ascot at a long price and was the unlucky runner. He also gets a sticky gate but expect sharp improvement. SHEZA CHALMER (10) debuts and has looked the part in her trials. Keep a close eye on the late market. SELECTION: Keen on the promising #4 Kick A Goal Son.
