Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Goulburn, Grafton, Kyneton, Kilcoy, Port Lincoln & Launceston.

Kyneton: Race 8 @ 4:40pm

Our Big Mike and Barry The Baptist will push forward with Bartholomeu Dias and Captain Cook on their heels. BARTHOLOMEU DIAS (5) was only beaten 2L in the Listed Seymour Cup on resumption with market support. The middle distance suits now and fitter the former UK galloper is capable of taking this out for a star yard. DOUBLE YOU TEE (3) has been busting to win in city Opens and forget the latest when he had no luck at all. Rates right up to this and should manage the drop in distance. OUR BIG MIKE (2) is a former Kiwi who quickly regained form winning at Moe. He can go on with it now. PESO (8) runs along and draws to advantage. He is going well enough to be a chance at a price. SELECTIONS: This sets up nicely for #5 Bartholomew Dias.

Port Lincoln: Race 3 @ 2:25pm

They run along here but it's not obvious who will lead. DRESSMAKER (7) had good support first-up but disappointed and then placed making good improvement. She has more up the sleeve and the longer sprint suits. Will take beating. MY CAT BALLOU (10) also presents third-up and won't have to improve much to threaten. ROCKFACE LOUIE (5) led and held on to place third-up and keeps getting better. Gets the 3kg claim today and that brings him right onto it. WIFE FREE ZONE (6) just missed at Gawler rating well but has disappointed here the two runs since. Gets a gear tweak and improvement wouldn't surprise. SELECTIONS: #7 Dressmaker looks a bet on a competitive race card.

Kilcoy: Race 4 @ 4:50pm AEDT

Abundant early pace as Twogoboom, Mystic Brook, Royal Sheen and Slightly Shady push on. ROYAL SHEEN (1) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time over 1400m at the Gold Coast when third after leading into the straight. Will be handy in the run again and is expected to prove tough to beat at the third run back. THE GOOD THE BAD (8) boxed on well to finish over 1800m at the Sunshine Coast last time out. Back in trip but did fill a placing at her only attempt at 1500m. Looks the logical threat. SERRIANO (6) has been freshened and changed trainers since finishing sixth at Kempsey over 1450m 58 days ago. In the mix from the inside gate. Agree with the market that this is a race in three, with MYSTIC BROOK (4) best of the others. SELECTIONS: Very keen on #1 Royal Sheen in a shallow form race.

Launceston: Race 5 @ 8:30pm

Expecting Kohima to find the lead with some pressure over this journey. KOHIMA (4) has placed the five runs from the speed and finds a bit easier off the latest. Gets the low gate and the claim and rates to win in this line-up. ENDURED (6) just missed as favourite before the spell and resumes for the new yard off a good trial. He's been away for a while but has ability and will be a player if presented on-song. SKILENDRA (9) peaks and didn't miss here by much the latest. Keeps the hot jockey and can improve into the finish. DISTANZA (3) debuts for a strong barn owning a trial win. Gets the rail and monitor the late betting very closely. SELECTIONS: #Kohima deserves the win and gets his chance in this line up racing at peak fitness.
