Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on November 5
Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Hawkesbury, Flemington, Pakenham, Ipswich & Gawler.
Flemington: Race 4 @ 2:35pm
Blinkers are on to Think We're Due who should roll them along at a good gallop. TINANDALI (11) comes to Australian with some very useful bits of form in the book and looks remarkably well placed in this company. If he is ready to run straight off the plane they are going to do well to beat him. He goes on top of PANCHO (8) who won at this meeting last year and found his form again last time out. Ready to peak and so is ADELAIDE ACE (5) who has been looking for this trip in his latest couple of runs. Improver now. Have to respect IRISH FLAME (4) who continues to race really well. Deserved the win last time and no reason to think he won't keep his form rolling now. SELECTIONS: Tinandali looks really well placed.

Pakenham: Race 9 @ 5:25pm
Looks a solid tempo with Full Of Theories striding to the front. LOCKO (6) brought strong form to resumption and was okay as favourite after a wide run. He then missed a nose here over the longer sprint in better than this. Draws for a soft run and can win this with the extra fitness and with the 2x winning rider back on. DELIGHTFUL HUSTLER (10) needed the first-up run but won here the only second-up run and has a couple of strong figures in the back-form. Draws wide but can make quick improvement at a price. LORD MAPPERLEY (9) came from the back to miss 1L resuming and has more to give. He's an each way chance with Callow replacing the apprentice. FORTUNE FOLLOWS (5) tends to be in and out but is back in grade and draws well. His best is good enough. SELECTIONS: Punting #6 Locko has an edge.
Hawkesbury: Race 7 @ 5:30pm
Expecting Archedemus to lead Spencer at a genuine tempo. MANTASTIC (1) is facing a steep drop in class. He hasn't won for awhile but on his latest effort at Rosehill he's a huge hope in this. Backs up from last Saturday so fitness clearly no issues and the mile is his pet trip. Plenty to like and should have no excuses in the run. Backing him each-way in this contest. MILITARY ZONE (3) was down the track in the Sydney Stakes at Randwick on Everest day. He's had a trial since and steps up to a far more comfortable distance. Big improver. SAVACOOL (6) is an honest mare. Tends to leave plenty for herself to do from back in the field but she does have the class. Inside alley probably not ideal but she's in the mix. BLACK ON GOLD (7) was beaten less than a length in the Scone Cup when fresh last campaign. Long time between drinks but keep safe. ARCHEDEMUS (5) on the speed and out of trouble is best of the rest. SELECTIONS: Mantastic each-way in the feature.
Gawler: Race 8 @ 6:00pm
Fast early pace with Liberty's Torch and Time Warrior showing out early. DEEVINE (3) has been knocking on the door and was close-up the latest in a Saturday 58. Keeps the in-form Vorster and is the one to beat. KISHSTAR (6) won the Maiden well but has been plainer the two after. She's up to this and a much sharper run won't surprise. TIME WARRIOR (4) has won and placed the last two at Port Lincoln heavily-backed and the Victorian form prior suggests he can't be ruled out. QUIET CLASS (2) resumed in good order and has more to give. The barn has scratched the fancied stablemate and drawn the rail he has to be kept very safe. SELECTIONS: #3 Deevine finds the right race.
