Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on November 20
Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Orange, Rosehill, Terang, Moonee Valley (night) & Townsville.
Moonee Valley: Race 2 @ 6:00pm
Midnight Rambler has good speed and should be able to cross over to lead. EVIE GIRL (5) peaks off two near-misses the last behind Flying Mascot. She has plenty up the sleeve and can go one better. MIMI'S AWARD (9) did a good job placing 2nd on debut after an awkward start finishing well clear of the others. She's a serious player with that under the belt. MIDNIGHT RAMBLER (2) will look to come over and control the race and deserved the country win. The Oliver-O'Brien linkage is respected and he can't be ruled out. WHO'S YOUR PAPY (3) is and improver from a star yard better for the Swan Hill near-miss. Gets the blinkers first time and Zahra rides and will use the low gate. Watch the late market very closely. SELECTIONS: Shorties dominate a few races but a good betting program away from those. In Race 2 # 5 Evie Girl looks a solid bet at the each way quote.

Terang: Race 3 @ 1:35pm
Early speed across the barriers and they well scoot along. MASTER BARTHOLDI (7) placed heavily-backed resuming for the new yard and has more up the sleeve. He has the speed to make short work on the sticky gate and is the one to beat with the extra fitness. CHICAMO (13) led first up at Moe and just missed the placings. She raced well in stronger city races in her first preparation and she's a player getting close to that form. CROCODILE DUNDEEL (6) resumes for a good yard with the blinkers on first time. Rodd sticks from the debut and watch the market closely. STRATEGY (9) is well-bred and debuts for a respected yard. Has trialled solidly and gets the blinkers first time. Draws out but looks to have good ability and watch the late betting moves. SELECTIONS: #7 Master Bartholdi sets a decent standard.
Rosehill: Race 1 @ 3:10pm
Not much speed evident - Regulation expected to set the tempo along with La Sagra. The James Cummings runners hold the key. REGULATION (5) has been handy in the run and fought on well to fill minor placings at the provincials at both career runs. This doesn't look any tougher and the step up in distance is timely. McDonald has opted for this one which is a nice leg-up. Ready to win. Stablemate DHAKURI (3) is closing in on a win, the latest effort a very close second at Wyong over the mile when he hit the line strongly. Perfectly placed out to 1800m on a bigger track - a big threat. The third arm of the Godolphin assault is LA SAGRA (7) who recorded a fourth minor placing from six runs when second in a Class 1 over 2100m at Wyong recently. Tough filly who will be strong at the finish. DON ARCANGELO (4) turned last of seven but charged home to be beaten a whisker over 1900m at Gosford last start. Suited by the small field and will be very hard to hold out. SELECTIONS: Competitive race but #5 Regulation may have more upside than the others so back him to win.
Orange: Race 6 @ 4:05pm
The speedy Matter Of Factor likely to find the front here with Ateall hot on her heels. MATTER OF FACTOR (7) should take plenty of beating. Did enough first-up in a better race at Warren. Hasn't run poorly for a long time now. Strips fitter and with even luck on the turn looks hard to hold out. Stable going well at present. MISSILE RAIN (4) was a big maiden winner last start, coming from last and racing right away to record a 3.8L romp. Will derive plenty of benefit from that. Well weighted and can take the next step. ATEALL (5) for the multiples. Back to the 1000m suits. SELECTIONS: Matter Of Factor straight out.
