Seven TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Wyong, Bairnsdale, Caulfield, Eagle Farm, Ascot, Strathalbyn & Launceston.

Wyong: Race 3 @ 3:30pm

Expecting Spaceboy to find the lead but plenty of pressure over this journey. Exciting race this. BARBARIC (5) won two in a row last preparation, culminating with victory in the G3 Black Opal at Canberra. His trial back was superb, indicating that a first-up tilt is on the cards. Jmac a positive booking and he should get the perfect run throughout. YAO DASH (4) is back in NSW. His two runs in Melbourne have been solid when just peaking 100m out. Getting fitter and back to 1200m he'll be set fly. Blinkers first time could really take him to another level. SPACEBOY (3) is fast and fast horses around Wyong are always dangerous. Disappointing last Saturday but we know he's much better than that. Backs up. ELEVEN ELEVEN (2) and COUNT DE RUPEE (6) both have tremendous talent and shouldn't be overlooked. SELECTIONS: Barbaric for the win.

Bairnsdale: Race 6 @ 3:50pm

Nothing to run them along so pace average at best. ALLY'S REWARD (7) came back to this level 5 days ago at Moe from an Open class run and got up for a deserved win. Keeps the senior rider and must be pleasing. She's capable of delivering again. ANIKERY (6) came to the middle distance third-up and was a big 58 winner. Gets the handy 3kg claim and she has more to give. A danger. BRIGADIER (1) won this grade at Moe and then was outgraded in Open class and forget. He can bounce into the finish. SAVVY BOY (2) may be best of the others on the quick return. SELECTIONS: #7 Ally’s Reward looks well-placed to win again.

Caulfield: Race 3 @ 4:50pm

Fast 'N' Deep, Confidant and Was Written can set a strong tempo. WINSUM (5) was only beaten 3L in a Group 3 on debut and was much too good for the Maidens on resumption heavily-backed. Keeps a leading hoop and can make it a double drawn to advantage. IMPECUNIOUS (9) is a former Kiwi resuming off a 4L Maiden win. Oliver's booking suggests she has come on and is ready to go. The market will tell. CONFIDANT (1) just missed this grade first-up and has more in the tank. In a leading yard and the 2kg claim brings him right into it. USE YOUR VOICE (4) did a lot wrong off the debut win but is better than that and may prove next best. SELECTIONS: #5 Winsum will be hard to go past.

Eagle Farm: Race 5 @ 4.55pm (AEDT)

STAR OF MICHELIN (1) took on open company last start and settled well back but worked home solidly to be beaten 3.2L at Doomben. Looks better placed here having taken out a BM72 two back and has won four of seven attempts at this course. WARP SPEED (9) is a locally trained gelding who was prominent throughout last time and just missed when second over 1800m at Gold Coast. That was his third placing in as many runs since a Sunshine Coast win. Strong claims. POPULIST (3) hasn't been far away at his past couple and will be peaking. Races well at this distance. Profiles to run well. URBINO (6) has put together a string of wins and placings in country NSW. Include.  SELECTIONS: #1 Star Of Michelin to win returning to Eagle Farm.

Launceston: Race 1 @ 5:20pm

Bandinelli has good early speed and can set a genuine tempo. STREET TOUGH (1) turned in a super run first up, finishing strongly for third over 1200m in the LR Tasmanian Newmarket Hcp at this track, beaten 1.3 lengths. Has a strong second up record including a win and two minors. Huge chance back in a Bm74. SIDOROVA (6) lifted strongly to score with a bit in hand last start at Hobart over 1100m at Bm66 level. In good form this campaign and third up will be further improved. Can measure up again in this tougher affair. BANDINELLI (2) led all the way to win narrowly last time over 1200m at this track to make it two on the trot over today's journey. Expected to run well again. OCEAN ESSENCE (5) is back from an 18-week spell. Will be better for the run but it is hard to knock the form at this course, with two wins and three placings from five runs. SELECTIONS: The class of #1 Street Tough to shine through.

Strathalbyn: Race 7 @ 6:45pm

The Pugilist should be able to find the front over New Roman and Rising Thunder. DISCREPANCY (5) led and just missed here resuming a well-bet favourite and then came back and was backed off the map winning the Maiden easily this trip. The three before were all solid efforts in Stakes and Listed grade and the promising galloper can win again. THE PUGILIST (1) resumes for the McEvoy yard with the stable hoop aboard. He's had two trial warmers and has gone well in stronger contests. Races handy and keep a close eye on the market. RISING THUNDER (4) has been knocking on the door and will put in an honest effort again. LYRICKIN'S DREAM (3) impressed here taking out the Maiden and can build on that drawn to get a soft run. SELECTIONS: Like # 5 Discrepancy to beat the favourite.
