Nine TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Sunday at Sale, Moruya, Sunshine Coast, Port Lincoln, Bunbury, Taree, Devenport, Horsham and Alice Springs.

Moruya: Race 6 @ 4:30pm

REVITUP REDNUT (3) gets the nod. She's had plenty of homes but has found a special knack with local trainer Greg Backhouse. Should've won two back over this trip at Canberra when making a late surge once clear. Her effort in town most recently was a creditable effort when not experiencing the clearest of runs. Her Moruya record is freakish. Drawing out is a benefit because it gives her leg room to build into the race and slingshot once balanced up. Third-up and ready. ELTHAM PALACE (11) never runs a bad race. She's got the services of McDougall for her first-up assignment. Plain you would have to say when a distant second in the small field this track/distance in September. This looks a target race from the Dryden camp. LOOK ONLY (5) has a sharp turn of foot on her day. 1100m is a shade too far for her and that was evidenced last start at Canterbury. Race pattern is much similar to Rednut but this girl will need luck given she drew in low. HARD CORE (4) and SNITZAGIRL (8) next best. SELECTION: #3 Revitup Rednut. Backing with confidence.

Sale: Race 6 @ 4:20pm

There's no obvious leader on paper with Mr Charisma likely to be prominent from an inside draw. Redwood Rising can settle closer from Lion's Share. REDWOOD RISING (1) is a promising staying type who looks capable of progressing to better races. He wasn't far away in midweek company in town last start when well supported. He can settle handy in the run here and should be suited out to this trip fourth up. He's easy to like. MISS FIVE HUNDRED (6) has good ability on her day but is hard to catch. She just missed in town last start and can go close again here with the Blinkers off if she can get her preferred firmer footing. HEARTLAND RAIDER (2) has upgraded here form at her past two starts with solid efforts in town. She can turn around her poor form at the track, racing this time over a more suitable trip. LION'S SHARE (3) is progressing nicely this campaign and boasts a win over Tralee Rose on her record. Include. FIORITURA (7) doesn't win out of turn but is a must for multiples. SELECTION: #1 Redwood Rising looks ideally placed to record another win.

Alice Springs: Race 4 @ 5:50pm

Not clear-cut the lead. DESERT LASS (3) was just nudged out twice before recording the 2.3L maiden win making a ratings spike. He will use the rail and can go right on with it briefly freshened. RAWTEKK (2) has been racing well without winning and draws a low gate today. He will race handy and is always a chance at this level. MILITARY FORCES (5) has also been knocking on the door and freshened won't be far away. JONNY AKHATON (1) had no luck at all resuming in stronger but has a sharp second-up record and his best is good enough. SELECTION: #3 Desert Lass will take beating.

Port Lincoln: Race 2 @ 2:05pm

Solid tempo with Winter Harbour leading from the low draw. LINE DANCER (7) came here off the provincials for the new yard but disappointed as favourite in stronger grade. Keeps the leading hoop and has the pace to manage the sticky gate. Rates well and gets another chance. WINTER HARBOUR (5) raced handy and won the Maiden by a space before fading in better grade. Has to manage the longer trip but will give himself every chance using the low gate. ARTFUL TEEPA (1) missed a lip ahead of the above in that contest and the rise in trip may suit him this time around. BONIFACE (2) placed in the same contest and is also in the mix. SELECTION: #7 Line Dancer finds a winnable race.

Bunbury: Race 4 @ 6:05pm

Expecting Icarian to take up the running at a moderate tempo. TENA KOUTOU (4) had just missed both runs with the latest up to this trip. In a leading yard and fitter can go one better drawn to advantage. ASK AN ANGEL (7) is an improver who will be suited over the longer trip. He can make the finish in this line-up. TYPHOON BEN (2) is a player at best and gets the key jockey switch to Pike. He'll manage the outside gate and expect improvement. ICARIAN (6) gets the 2kg claim and will race at full fitness. Sits handy and is in the mix. SELECTION: #4 Tena Koutou makes good appeal.
