SANDOWN-LAKESIDE: RACE 4 @ 1:45 PM

Mawaany Machine (2) is getting together a good record over jumps, having won two of his three starts. Looked good last time and despite the extra weight looks the testing material again. LIGHT PILLAR (4) absolutely strolled in at his first jumps start. Will be improved by the experience and should make a bold bid. KARAKORAM (5) won a maiden hurdle three starts back and two subsequent performances over jumps have been solid. Expect a forward showing. SELECTIONS: Back Mawaany Machine to win.

FORBES: RACE 6 @ 3:40PM

Super Chance (1) is a model of consistency never missing the top four in eight career starts. Finally shed the maiden tag last time out and will take plenty of confidence from that victory. Can go right on with the job now and looks the one to beat. LAND OF THE BRAVE (2) is another who broke through last start in his first run for the new stable. Has won over this trip and looks a genuine contender against this lot. MANADRIA (3) has been thereabouts in both runs this time in and strips fitter third-up. In the mix. DANISH HUSSAR (6) wasn't too far away last start and can earn a cheque. DIAMONDS ARE GOOD (7) is best of the rest on the back of three handy efforts this campaign. SELECTIONS: Super Chance to win.

DONALD: RACE 7 @ 3:20PM

Simon Says (5) has placed at all five runs this time in and looks to have found the right race to notch another win. He gets the Blinkers on here and despite an awkward draw should be able to find a spot in striking distance to the speed. He has the superior form lines. CLAP CHAP (1) looks ready to show his best out to this trip third up. Look for him to roll forward from an outside alley and take running down at the finish. MARINATED (2) returns to the flat with the Blinkers off after placing last start over the obstacles. He can run a cheeky race. VENTURA HIGHWAY (10) can add value to the multiples. SELECTIONS: Simon Says has found the right race.

KEMBLA GRANGE: RACE 4 @ 2:05PM

Arnaqueur (3) resumes after an impressive autumn campaign which finished with a 4.5L defeat in the G1 Champagne Stakes. Has looked good in his two trials in the lead up. Will prove hard to beat. FREE STATE (1) is knocking on the door of a win, finishing 1.4L away at Hawkesbury last time out when wide throughout. Jay Ford goes on and he is a leading chance again today. GENERAL SOLEIL (10) was beaten a length over his course and distance last start. Draws better today and should be in the finishon recent performances. MORGENSTERN (9) wasn't far away at Goulburn and was beaten half a length at Taree prior. Drops in weight today and gets back onto a good surface. Keep safe. SELECTIONS: Going with Arnaqueur to return a winner.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 6 @ 3:49PM

Highland Son (9) was just nudged out here resuming and has plenty up the sleeve. Goes second-up and should be winning drawn well with the handy claim. ICED (1) won in stronger at Eagle Farm and prepared to forgive the effort there after. Gets a 3kg claim for a hot apprentice in easier grade and he can bounce back. ABLE MABEL (3) disappointed first-up at Doomben heavily-bet. Won the only second-up run and will be in the mix fitter and in easier company. SELECTIONS: Backing Highland Son.

KALGOORLIE: RACE 4 @ 3:20PM

Violation (3) looks another strong chance for the high-striking Pike-Fernie linkage. She has more to give off the decent first-up effort when switching from Queensland. She's fast and will use the low barrier and the extra gear comes off.. GOODBYEFEDS (2) peaks and has been threatening. Is on the quick return and he best can see her make the quinella. APACHE PATROL (1) can win this at best and didn't have much luck racing second-up for the new barn. Gets a better barrier and keeps the handy 3kg claim. Expect improvement. CITY CRUISER (4) didn't let down on the heavy resuming at Belmont. This suits much better and expect Rawiller to use the paint. SELECTIONS: Backing Violation to win.

PORT HEDLAND: RACE 5 @ 4:05PM

Shackleton (3) rates strongly off terrific efforts at Derby and Roebourne. Should prove too good with the claimer sticking. COUNTER DRIVE (6) has won the last two and was favourite this level the latest. Has his first run at this track and will go close getting the 2kg claim. LICKETY SPLIT (5) peaks off two lip defeats here. Will run along and get every chance to go one better. FRIAR'S GIFT (2) is also going well enough to be competitive. SELECTIONS: With Shackleton to win.
