Seven TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Canterbury, Orange, Port Macquarie, Cranbourne, Stawell, Sunshine Coast & Launceston.

 CRANBOURNE: RACE 3

GLAMDAM (11) resumes and showed enough at his first-two runs to say this is winnable with natural improvement. She had no luck as favourite on debut closing well and will be ready to go. DUNVEGAN (2) missed a lip second-up making sharp improvement and that stacks right up. He will be further improved and Lane's booking helps off-set the disadvantage of a sticky gate. BOTTMINGEN (1) impressed just missing on debut and then had good support at The Valley but disappointed. Fitter he is a serious player off a brief freshen. FUZZ BUZZ (9) finished strongly to place on debut and will build on that. SELECTIONS: With the promising Glamdam in a good contest.

ORANGE: RACE 5

SOLVA (4) was an impressive winner here on resumption. He gave them a start but responded well once pressured to get the job done. Holds nice scope. He's in good hands and can progress further this afternoon. CRAZY TRAIN (2) should be hitting her straps third-up. Fought on well when third to the in-form River Charge last start at Goulburn. Lightly-raced and should get all the favours in transit. INVICTUS FELIX (1) was a provincial winner last campaign so clearly has the talent. Trial in readiness for today was rather ordinary though and prefer to watch him this afternoon. BRONZIE (6) for the multiples. SELECTIONS: Solva straight out.

 PORT MACQUARIE: RACE 5

MISS SCALINI (7) finds a nice race second-up. She got tired at Coffs first-up when leading the way. She's not usually a noted fresh performer but her second-up statistics are deadly. She'll lead rather comfortably here and in the wet ground that can only be an advantage. DEW DROP (2) was placed at Taree last start behind Pirate Ben. He doesn't win out of turn but is hard fit and sure to run a cheeky race at each-way odds. UNDERBOSS (6) can improve getting out in trip. Was always going to struggle from the wide gate at Newcastle last start. HAVANA STORM (9) best of the rest. SELECTIONS: Miss Scalini gets the nod.

STAWELL: RACE 5

STREET BABY (8) placed three times before delivering the comfortable Maiden win at this trip. Needs a good ride from the claimer but keeps improving and looks up to taking the next step. IRISH DELIGHT (1) was on-speed and too good this grade resuming and was okay after on the heavy at Geelong. Presents fitter with a 2kg claim and the Wilde yard gets plenty of winners this venue. NOBLE ROCKS (4) disappointed as favourite at Colac but the Hamilton effort prior stacks up. He will use the handy gate and can make the finish. EASY SHERIFF (9) may be best of the rest.SELECTIONS: Backing Street Party.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 6

LA JUMENT (5) worked to the line well when resuming with a fourth over this distance at Doomben. Unbeaten in two previous second up attempts so should be improved and the form from last campaign was strong. Races well at this distance so has strong claims. VILLENEUVE LADY (8) lost the rider last start but the previous form at this track was sound including a close second two back. Expected to feature. AZIZ JAMIL COUREUR (6) settled towards the tail of a small field and finished well for a 1.8 length second when resuming over 1000m at this track. Will strip fitter and can progress. SELECTIONS: La Jument for the win second up.

CANTERBURY: RACE 8

PERIGORD (1) produced an encouraging effort first up when fourth on the Kensington when closing well behind Mossman Gorge. Fitter and has excellent course credentials not to mention enjoys rain affected ground. ESTRADO (10) should have benefited from the run last start. Appeals as trifecta chance. WANDER (2) turned bad luck from the Warwick Farm run two starts back into a win a Wyong. Steps up here and can follow on. COLONEL (8) is back to a more suitable race and can't be left out of calculations. SELECTIONS: Going with Perigord straight out in the last.

LAUNCESTON: RACE 3

CLIFTON DANSEUR (2) will need some luck from the draw but is going well enough to win now. He could even need further but will battle away. FIGHTING FLOYD (3) will need the speed on as he gets back but has been passing most. Can get into the placings. RED OCTOBER (10) raced much closer last month so that seems likely again from this barrier. NOTEABLY (9) had support first up but just boxed on. Could work home here. KEEPER'S TOUCH (4) one of the newcomers from a big yard. Watch the market. SELECTIONS: Stay with Clifton Danseur.
