BUSTER FONTEIN (1) responded well to Blinkers first time when second over 1400m at Corowa. Gear change has seemingly helped him turn a corner. UNSUGARED (14) could also be an improver with Blinkers applied for the first time. HAUNTING SPIRIT (2) next elect from a low draw. A real bridesmaid for his prior stable however Ponsonby doing good things with tried horses coming to his yard. SELECTIONS: Beau Belle long overdue.

ROYAL CONFESSION (3) is a former VIC galloper back after 40 days for the Morgan yard. Draws wide but has ability and the 2kg claim assists. ZASTARISBORN (7) resumes off a low gate and expect her to be improved. The market needs to be monitored. SELECTIONS: Backing Little White Lies to win.
KILMORE: RACE 8
VAPID (7)was midfield fresh and looks well placed here to springboard back into winning form. Fitter and rates highly here. Expected to go close up in distance today.. Looks a strong each way chance. DRY COUNTY (4) scored his maiden win last time out at Kerang and is looking an each way chance. SELECTIONS: Keen on Vapid.
GATTON: RACE 9
PERSIAN KING (1) won the Maiden comfortably from the front and than backed it up with the CL1 placing also at Toowoomba. Rides the speed from the rail and should be winning briefly freshened. TO LOVE SOMEBODY (2) resumed in stronger following the deserved Maiden win. He will be much sharper today and expect him to be right in the finish. POWERFUL LASS (6) gets a wide gate but has placed 2/3 fresh including two-back beaten a nose for the old yard at the Gold Coast. Has been away for a while but keep safe. SET TO GO WELL (12) resumes for a new yard with the claim and has trialled well at the Gold Coast. She's capable and has to be considered.SELECTIONS: Backing Persian King to win.
