Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Moonee Valley, Warrnambool, Sunshine Coast, Walcha, Townsville,  Port Lincoln,  Canberra,  Fannie Bay  and Hobart.

MOONEE VALLEY: RACE 4 @ 8:00 PM

ICE ICE BABY (7) resumes today. Was in the market in a stakes race here before a break. Looks suited against this lot fresh and should be hard to stop. HEAVENLY BRIDGES (6) won two on end at Yarra Valley before solid showing here last time. Hard to knock recent performances and bold showing expected. OH SO REWARDING (1) was an impressive winner last time over 1000m at this track at big odds. Looks a strong chance to continue his form now that he's broken through. YOUNG LIAM (2) led them up but was no match last time. Back in distance here and will be in this for a long way.
SELECTIONS: Back Ice Ice Baby.

PORT LINCOLN: RACE 7 @ 6:10 PM

BEAR ARMS (2) was caught deep so made a dash forward before the turn then stuck on well to finish second last start over 1960m at this track. Rates a strong winning chance on recent form and deserves a win. Gets chance. SIZZLING BULLET (3) finished among the placegetters last start when third at this track over 1390m and peaks for this. Seems to be going well but has been an age since a win. Has won over this longer trip and appeals as a leading player. RELAXED (7) ran sixth last time out at this track but didn't have the best of it in traffic. May well be worth another try. OBLIQUE LINE (4) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start running fifth at this track. Winds up and looks an each way hope. GALAXY FALLS (8) finished off strongly when beaten half a length last time here. Worth including again.
SELECTIONS: Bear Arms overdue.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 7 @ 9:15 PM

ZAWADI (2) has to be hard to beat if repeating the effort last time out. It was this course and distance. The margin was the impressive factor. A drying track would only help him. D'CLONE (5) looks as if the more ground he gets the better. Breeding would suggest that too. JERRY ZANDA (4) has looked good twice now at this course. He has been backed in them as well. LOPE FOR JOYA (6) has been crying out for a longer race and now gets it. VENDIDIT (3) can get into the placings once more.
SELECTIONS: Zawadi has found his best.

TOWNSVILLE: RACE 8 @ 5:45 PM

ROADHOUSE (1) is promising and missed a nose first-up at Mackay. He will build off that and the leading hoop rides from the rail. The one to beat. HEMSTED (5) got some gear changes and just missed here this grade making a ratings spike. He will push forward and will be in the finish holding that form. INDIAN DANCER (6) has been around the mark and is back from the mile. He won't be far away with average luck. YIN AND YANG (2) is ex SA and resumes for the new yard with a stack of gear changes. Gets a cruel gate but is good enough and keep a close eye on the betting. MYSTERY 'N' MAGIC (9) will be fitter and is also in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Backing Roadhouse.

WALCHA: RACE 6 @ 4:30 PM

KINJINA (6) has been in great form this preparation with a win and five placings from eight starts. Has drawn perfectly in gate one and Rolls has had two rides aboard for one win. A winner on Good and Soft going and should be fighting out the finish again. MOETTA (3) is a bit hit and miss but drops dramatically in grade. Has had a win and a second from three tries at the trip. I'M ON A BREAK (2) had been competing in Highway races before a 22 week spell and will be fitter following the first-up run. Has won second-up and over the distance. OUR MATE CHUCKLES (5) has won two of his past four and can be in the mix again. PRUE'S PROPHET (7) has had a win and placing from two runs this time in.
SELECTIONS: Kinjina to win.

WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 5 @ 3:25 PM

COP A CLIP (3) won better than the form guide might suggest last time at Moe. If the rain stays away then it looks like another winnable race here. SILKSTREAM (5) broke the maiden at steps up to 1100 metres today. Well in this. AMUSING MAGNUS (2) can go well at this stage of the prep. Won despite a tough enough run last start at Penshurst. This might be a little harder but can place at least. DUECOURSE (1) has the claim but also needs to step up. Has the ability to be competitive but just looks like a place might be a place hope here. ATUM (6) is first-up and can go well. Wouldn't shock if won but can be thereabouts.
SELECTIONS: Cop A Clip the win.

CANBERRA: RACE 3 @ 2:54 PM

VAAROOM (7) debuts for the leading Canberra barn with McDougall sticking from a sharp trial-win. No surprise if he won and goes on to better things. SUPER RIFF (1) won this track/grade on debut from the front and has trialled sharply since. He's a promising local and will take beating drawn to advantage. OBLIVION (4) debuts for Team Snowden off a big Wyong trial win. Draws out but looks to have plenty of ability. The stable has a whopping 38% strike rate at this track from 74 starters. TEA LEAVES (6) brings a nice trial to the debut for a leading Sydney-yard. Is likely to run along and prove very competitive.
SELECTIONS: Vaaroom each way.

FANNIE BAY: RACE 4 @ 5:20 PM

CAPTAIN HEDDERWICK (4) is ex VIC and ran his best race just beaten here second-up for the form yard. Was heavily-backed and fitter can go one better. TOORAK ROAD (3) has been good both runs back and raced favourite the latest. Gets a handy gate and weight relief and can win finding his best. IMA PUPPET (6) resumes in good order against the above and has more to offer. The gate advantages. THE MONT (1) resumes and usually needs a few runs. He's capable though and is a betting watch.
SELECTIONS: Backing Captain Hedderwick.
