Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB thoroughbred meetings on March 10.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Randwick Kensington, Sandown-Lakeside, Eagle Farm, Ascot and Naracoorte.
RANDWICK KENSINGTON: RACE 8 @ 5:50 PM
Tough race to round out the card. REBEL BRO (8) put it all together last start when saluting at Kembla Grange. Loves this distance range with three wins and three placings from just seven starts. Drawn to get a cosy run for Marquand and looks good each-way value. EXCELTIC (1) has been a model of consistency this time in and will be rock-hard fit here. Gets 2kg off and can figure in the finish. JULIAN ROCK (2) has won over this track and trip and gets 1.5kg weight relief. STORMY ROCK (3) is in career best form and has placed at the journey. NO ESCAPE (12) has been placed here his past two and can earn another cheque.

SANDOWN-LAKESIDE: RACE 6 @ 6:00 PM
AGREEABLE (2) has raced her last five starts in Listed and Group company and has a class edge. She's won first up and with Kah booked looks primed for a winning return. The wide gate is against but expect the in-form hoop to manage that. BEST EPISODE (8) is a stablemate and showed plenty the first preparation. Was backed off the map winning the Maiden and will get again get the run of the race. Zahra rides and that's a push. PALACE WHISPER (14) was heavily-backed winning the Maiden by 6L and can go on now. Don't take lightly. BUONA SERA (5) will be fitter and the longer sprint suits. The 2kg claim is handy.

EAGLE FARM: RACE 7 @ 4:33 PM
WUDDACUDDASHUDDA (4) is promising and followed the 1L first-up defeat with an easy all the way Maiden win at the Gold Coast heavily-bet. He's still to reach his NSW peaks and should be winning from the low gate. SAKURA STAR (8) has the speed to manage the wide gate and has just been whiskered out his last two starts. They stack up and he is the quinella hope with average luck. ZOUKINA (3) resumed with an easy and expected Maiden win at Doomben and then went back there and was beaten a whisker in a CL2. He will need a good ride from the wide gate but fitter should be right in the finish. JELLISHOT (6) gets a soft run from the rail and may fill out the first-four.
SELECTIONS: Backing Wuddacuddashudda to win.
NARACOORTE: RACE 1 @ 1:40 PM
HI SMOKEY (1) was well in the market when 6th behind Starspangled Banner last time. He was placed at Gawler four starts back and looks the horse to beat. MAI TIME (4) has been placed at six starts in NSW and must be given some thought. SQUIZZY MIZZY (7) is a watch on debut for Dennis O'Leary. TOP UP (2) is on debut and draws an inside gate. SCOPEN SUCCESS (5) is fitter here and could run into the placings.
SELECTIONS: Hi Smokey to break through.
