Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for March 14.

COONAMBLE: RACE 3 @ 2:10

PMPRODIGAL PRINCE (10) has been thereabouts without winning in three of his four starts to date. Has placed second-up and Cavallo has had four rides for two placings. Will be fitter and should be in the finish. AVANCER (1) was a very good third at Provincial level two starts back and only needs to reproduce that form to be fighting out the finish here. The ultra-consistent KOGI LASS (12) has only finished out of the top five once in 14 starts. Drawn low, gets 2kg off and has placed at the trip. Have to include in all multiples. The Cahills combine with SHYLOCK (6) who has gotten better in both runs. Further improvement expected and can be in the mix. DIRECT VISION (3) has had plenty of chances but can earn some minor money. SELECTIONS: Boxed Trifecta 10,1,12,6.

GRAFTON: RACE 5 @ 3:10 PM

Looks a winnable race for MAXCALEMMA (1). Was a closing second in first run for the new stable at the Sunshine Coast and will take plenty of benefit from that. The step up to 1420m looks ideal and is the one they have to beat. VITAE (7) has placed two from four and is from a good yard. Looks a danger. I AM A BEAUTY (5) ran second over this track and trip last time out and will strip fitter second-up from a spell. BRAVE NICK (3) was much better last start and will take natural improvement. ENRIQUE (4) has been thereabouts in all four career starts and has drawn to get a soft run from gate two. SELECTIONS: Maxcalemma to win.

MT BARKER: RACE 7 @ 4:50 PM

CLASSIC JACK (6) raced handy and seeks the hat-trick off big wins. Gets weight relief and WA's form hoop rides first time. Should get a soft run and is the one to beat. DEEL RED (5) is the danger following the win and close-up effort in the Open. Darws to control the race and will certainly take pegging back. WAR KSAR (4) was beaten 2.5L by Classic Jack working to lead after a slow start. Holds a decent level of form and a win wouldn't totally surprise. MR PAGO (2) is another veteran from the same yard was plain the latest. The win and near-miss prior stack right up and keep him well onside. SELECTIONS: Backing Classic Jack to win.

PORT LINCOLN: RACE 4 @ 2:00 PM

RIVERSIDE ROCK (1) has a good record and defeated Betta Eddie here two starts back before a good effort behind Isa Secret last time. Draws well and has the claim. TRIVAGO GIRL (4)was runner-up behind Mary's Pride at KI before getting up at nice odds there last time. She draws poorly but is a winner here. SWING IT SISTER (3) draws a wide gate but has been placed at her past couple here. SHOWBAG (2) is a former Victorian who was only beaten 2.35 len at Yarra Valley two runs back and draws a nice gate. VICTORY SPOILS (5) was a god winner two starts back and is worth another chance. SELECTIONS: Riverside Rock to prove too good.

YARRA VALLEY: RACE 4 @ 2:50 PM

TICTOC TICTOC (9) is lightly raced and progressing nicely. The daughter of Tavistock should relish the step up to this distance third up and she appeals in this race having finished close up at this track behind the talented Dundirtcheap when first up. Look for another bold showing. BOWNESS (6) resumed in good order last start behind Princess Rhaenys which should turn out to to a good form race. Keep safe. TRIPOLI (10) caught the eye on debut and has been very well supported in early markets. She'll only get better with distance on breeding and is worth consideration. MISS SENTENTIA (7) is racing well and can add value to the exotics. TOBYTOFF (5) disappointed last start but could be an improver here with the Blinkers going on. SELECTIONS: Tictoc Tictoc can break through.
