Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Albury, Moonee Valley, Kyneton, Sunshine Coast, Cairns.

ALBURY: RACE 5 @ 3:40 PM

IMPRESSIVE LASS (4) has put two wins on the bounce now and is really starting to put it all together. Has yet to finish out of the top four in seven starts to date and is a victor at this trip. The one to beat. AZALY (2) was very good before the spell with a win and two seconds from his last three starts. Has placed first-up before and McDougall from gate two is a plus. Looks a threat. PHILIPSBURG (7) was a winner over this track and trip two starts back before a solid third in a Highway. Costin has had four steers for two wins and a placing and is right in the mix. EASY CAMPESE (1) drops back from Group 2 grade and gets 1.5kg relief. EXHIBITION (3) is an interesting runner having first run for new stable. Watch.

SELECTIONS: Impressive Lass to win.

CAIRNS: RACE 3 @ 2:57 PM

WHICH LILY (1) has a great record over this distance and with a good barrier looks like one of the better bets of the day. CLEVER HUNTER (2) can improve second-up. The shorter trip also works in its favour and looks the main danger. LUCKY IN LIFE (5) comes out of the same race as Which Lily but needs to find a couple of lengths today to win. Place prospects at least. BETTER THAN SILVER (3) can win first-up but might find a few stronger in this. Include in case. ALI'S JAB (8) has been going consistently. Might need another run before winning but is right in the mix with improvement. Include in trifectas.

SELECTIONS: Which Lily the win.

KYNETON: RACE 5 @ 3:30 PM

DISSONANCE (2) broke through for his maiden success in strong fashion at Werribee. Should be camped just off the leaders and this not strong. Should go close. ALMIGHTY WILL (1) disappointed at Ballarat last time but previous effort in this grade was strong. Sure to prove tough to stop. COMMANDO MISS (6) charged home to win from back in the field at Stawell. That was first-up so will strip fitter and the extra ground will suit. Forward showing on the cards. ARGUS (3) is coming off a break but has a trial win under the belt in preparation for return. Blinkers are removed for this so is worth keeping safe.

SELECTIONS: Back Dissonance.

PORT MACQUARIE: RACE 1 @ 1:35 PM

Looks a very winnable race for EXCELNESS (2). Was good on debut when second over this track and trip. Gibbons sticks and only needs to take natural improvement to be going one better. The one they have to catch. POLLARD (11) has had a few chances but has placed this course and distance and will be at peak fitness for this. Looks a nice each-way chance. DIRTY OR DRY (1) was a handy third on debut and can take benefit from that experience. LOOK OUT LEE (9) was much improved when third last start and has drawn the inside for Buckley. SUPERIOR ONE (12) has placed over this journey and will be rock-hard fit fifth-up.

SELECTIONS: Excelness to win.
