Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB thoroughbred meetings on March 29.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Grafton, Townsville and Kyneton.
GRAFTON: RACE 2 @ 1:15
PMFLYING PRETTY (5) has been very good this time in with a win and two placings from three runs since joining the new stable. Has placed four times from seven attempts at this track and is drawn well for Spokes in gate three. The one to beat. ABOVE THE LOT (3) finally broke through last start at this track and can go on with it now. Will be at peak fitness and looks a main danger. SHELLED (4) loves this distance range with a win and three placings from five starts. Must include. SNIPERESS (6) has won at this journey and drawn well in gate two. MEDUSA'S FURY (7) was a good winner two starts back and is one for the exotics.
SELECTIONS: Flying Pretty to win.
As a FREE Racing and Sports offer, below is the Grafton Computer Card.
TOWNSVILLE: RACE 6 @ 4:50 PM
FINAL WARNING (1) brings very strong form and there was nothing in it at Cairns the latest. Comes back to a shorter sprint but is the one to beat all the same. GOLDIE'S ARCHER (12) finished in the money last start at Mackay and will strip fitter second up. She will use the rail and can win without surprising. THAT'S TWO SLABS (6) has placed 3/4 fresh and gets a soft drag from the rail. Whiteley's booking suggests he's pleasing. BOLD THALIA (11) resumes for the new yard and go on the Sunshine Coast win three back. Is good on the fresh side but needs luck pushing forward from the wide gate.
SELECTIONS: Backing Final Warning.
KYNETON: RACE 8 @ 5:00 PM
ISOLA COMACINA (9) sat on the speed and battled on okay into second place last time out over 1600m at Ballarat. Is long overdue with a string of placings and should give a sight again. CAKE WALKER (4) has been in the market at her last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start running fifth at Sandown-Lakeside. Expecting a strong run in this easier field. QUAIL HOLLOW (1) ran seventh last time out at Cranbourne. Mixing form but has the ability. Hard to beat on best form. KARAKORAM (3) finished second last start, beaten 2.75 lengths at Warrnambool over 4065m. Resumes here over half that journey and will be better further into the campaign but well placed this grade. Can sneak into the minors at odds. RENDELSHAM (8) has been in the market at her last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start running sixth at Stawell. Can feature as well.
SELECTIONS: Isola Comacina is long overdue.
