Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for April 12.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Ipswich, Grafton and Tamworth.
IPSWICH: RACE 4 @ 1:40 PM
READY TO CHASE (4) will run along and was heavily-bet at Gatton third up and found one better. Had come off city runs and fitter can take this out with the blinkers on again. SQUARE DANCE (5) resumes for a form yard and has shown enough to say he'll be very competitive. Draws low with a claim and the market will say if he's ready to go. BLUINDI (2) had trialled well but was plain on debut despite being in the market. Gets Callow and the rail and quick improvement wouldn't surprise. PALAISIPAN (9) debuts for the Munce yard and has trialled at Doomben. Gets a handy gate and needs to be kept safe.
SELECTIONS: Ready To Chase the bet.

GRAFTON: RACE 4 @ 1:20 PM
ADELITA ROSE (6) has been very consistent this time in only missing the top five once in eight outings. Goes well at this track with two wins and two placings from six attempts and is drawn well in gate three. The one to beat. KID GALAHAD (1) loves this course with two wins from three starts. Gets the inside gate and 2kg off and looms as the main danger. ELECTRIC MISS (5) was good prior to the spell with two wins from her past four starts. In the mix fresh. LA CRONICA (8) has placed both runs this campaign and will strip fitter third-up. MISS WHITTINGTON (11) has won over this track and trip and is best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Adelita Rose to win.
MILDURA: RACE 7 @ 4:30 PM
JUSTWINS (3) enjoyed the heavy track last start and scored nicely despite overracing. Unlikely to find the same conditions today but can follow-up. DEEP FORCE (4) took on harder company than this in Adelaide first-up last time. Has a few gear changes today and won't mind any rain either. Looks a danger. ZOUY'S COMET (1) might need the run but isn't the worst first-up. Can be in the finish. PEACE BROTHER (2) was first-up at Sandown a year ago. Was outclassed there but expecting better here. Goes in exotics along with RIPPA EAGLE (5) who can go into the placings with natural improvement.
SELECTIONS: Justwins the win.
