Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Mornington, Armidale and Cairns.
MORNINGTON: RACE 6 @ 4:00 PM
SHOW SOME DECORUM (2) resumes here after closing off his last campaign with a fourth place run at Morphettville. Has ability but gelded since last seen and is well placed this class fresh. Looks the one to beat. RIGEL STAR (3) got off the mark with maiden success at Cranbourne in soft going when first up and jockey Jye Mc Neil sticks. Fitter and can go on with it. ZORRO'S DREAM (10) ran sixth last time out at Ballarat. Honest overall record and makes plenty of appeal. HUMMALONG (4) ran an improved race finishing midfield last start at this track when well supported. Fitter and worth including. WILD CHERRY ROAD (9) usually races well second-up so can improve on her sixth when resuming at this track.

ARMIDALE: RACE 8 @ 5:05 PM
ALPHA GO (2) came back to racing substantially improved winning the Gold Coast CL1 by 2,5L. He then led at Ipswich at 70 level and missed a whisker. Drops a stack in grade and should be winning with the leading jockey reunited. I'M ON BREAK (3) is also on the improve and was just nudged out here 16 days ago from the speed. He will push forward and make the finish again. THE SNOOPERSTAR (1) posted a strong figure when just beat at Dubbo before the soft track flop. Draws for a soft run and keep very safe. RIGHTHERE RIGHTNOW (7) won the Maiden on the same day getting quickly back to form. She can build on that.

CAIRNS: RACE 6 @ 4:45 PM
CLEAVER GREENE (2) resumed as a well-bet favourite and tired late from the front after going a stack of work. Brought strong figures in Open 2s to that and will be much better for the outing. Fitter and with some weight-relief he'll be very hard to peg back. ENDORSE (3) didn't come on his last two starts but expect the speedy galloper to be on-song for the fresh run. He draws to ride the speed and should go close. TENNESSEE BOY (1) has improved each run this campaign for the form yard. Gets the handy 3kg claim and can box-set from the rail. SANCY ROSE (4) gets a big weight dip off the easy win in lesser grade and can fill a slot on the quick return.
