Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Canterbury, Ipswich, Bendigo, Ascot and Murray Bridge.

CANTERBURY: RACE 4 @ 2:30 PM

FIFTEEN ARIA (2) hasn't done much wrong winning two from three career starts. Won over this journey last time out and looks a major player. AZARMIN (6) will be at peak fitness here and has won over the trip. In the mix. WILD IRISH (8) has placed second-up before and over this course and distance. Must include. TOCHI (1) comes in well with the 3kg claim. LATINA BEAUTY (7) will be rock-hard fit and is one for the multiples.
SELECTIONS: Fifteen Aria to win.

BENDIGO: RACE 7 @ 4:30 PM

DIRTY DEEDS (11) will race handy and has been busting to win this grade. Draws for a soft on-pace run and 2x winning rider Kah sticks. The one to beat. ALTAI RANGER (7) is capable and raced at Group level two-back. The longer sprint suits better and he's well in the mix. RECKONING (6) rates well off the Sandown Hillside placing and will be better for it. The wide gate makes it tougher but he can't be ruled out. KNOCK KNOCK (17) makes the field and gets weight relief after two near-misses in 64s. It's been a long time since the win but he gets his chance today.
SELECTIONS: Backing Dirty Deeds.

IPSWICH: RACE 8 @ 4:38 PM

EAST ASIA (12) switched from the Webster yard in Sydney and missed a lip resuming this grade at Eagle Farm for the Heathcote barn. She's further improved and can go one better fitter and drawn to advantage. ROCK AMORE (8) transferred from a leading Sydney yard to Tony Gollan and was heavily-bet first-up finding one much too good on the Doomben heavy. The speedy galloper gets weight relief and expect a much sharper effort second-up. CHAMPAGNE TOOTS (6) is well-performed and impressed winning the CL3 easily first-up. She was backed into the red at Doomben after but also found one much better on the heavy. Gets the handy claim and she's a player using the rail. JINX 'N' DRINX (10) deserved the all-the-way CL5 win and she won't have to improve much to make the finish. ROASTED (14) also has claims.
SELECTIONS: Backing East Asia.

MURRAY BRIDGE: RACE 6 @ 3:40 PM

GAZE GRISE (9) looked super first-up from a spell running rivals ragged at Balaklava before leading and knocking up behind River Twain in what should be a strong form race. She's the clear top pick. ALL IN WAR (17) was placed here behind Soul Obsession in January and was good behind Hypersonic last time. That's good form for a race like this despite a wide gate. EIGHTBALSIDEPOCKET (3)is more than capable of running into the multiples fresh. AVID GENERAL (1) was a good Edenhope winner before an OK Bordertown run and gets into this race OK with the help of a claim. THE PUBLIKIN (1) ran well first-up and must be given some thought at a price.
SELECTIONS: Gaze Gris to win.
