Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Grafton, Muswellbrook, Geelong, Cranbourne, Mackay and Sunshine Coast.

GRAFTON: RACE 6 @ 2:55 PM

LATIN DAYZ (7) has been knocking on the door of late with three placings from his past three outings. Is drawn well for Spokes in gate three and has placed over this track and trip. Looks the testing material. HARDEDGE (1) tuned up for this with a handy Coffs Harbour trial win and has placed first-up before. Looks one of the major players. ISHIM (6) has placed two from four and will be nearing peak fitness for this. In the mix. UCHIDA (14) was a solid second over this track and trip last start and gets 2kg weight relief. One for the exotics. EXHIBITOR (4) has trialled well and can be in the frame on debut.
SELECTIONS: Latin Dayz to win.

CRANBOURNE: RACE 6 @ 8:30 PM

ANGEL ROCK (3) found form to record a strong win last time. Looks ideally placed and expected to give this a shake again. DIVINE DIOSA (8) produced a solid effort in a tougher contest over in Adelaide last time. Rates highly and can bounce back. CAILLOUX (7) doesn't win all that often but last couple of performances have been solid. Should be camped just off the leaders and will be in this for a long way. JESSICA RAE (5) was comfortably held here last time but previous efforts were solid and is worthy of another chance in this line-up.
SELECTIONS: Back Angel Rock.

GEELONG: RACE 6 @ 4:00 PM

LUNCH SESSION (4) won last start at good odds at BM58 level. Sticks to the same level today and can't find many reasons to knock. Any rain would help. Look back two runs for HUNAMOSA (6) and the placing at Sale. Lacked any 'run-on' last start but in this field looks to have the chance to at least place again. WOLFE TONE (5) will be looking for a lot longer and some obstacles. More a wider trifecta chance. MR JOOBS (2) kept on well enough over 1400m at Pakenham earlier this month. It is around the mark in this but might find one or two stronger. Throwing in though. DELIGHTFUL SCOOP (3) is in winning form and could be value for exotics.
SELECTIONS: Lunch Session the win.

MACKAY: RACE 3 @ 1:15 PM

TEZOFF (1) has been very good since moving north with two seconds from two outings. Has placed four from eight over the journey and gets 3kg weight relief with the claim. Hard to toss. UNDER THE PUMP (2) has been thereabouts all three runs in this region and will be nearing peak fitness fourth-up from the spell. The main threat. RAW INSTINCT (9) has placed at this track and can be in the frame. NEW YORK POET (4) will be rock-hard fit for this and can earn some minor money. SHADOW ECLIPSE (10) was much improved last time out and can feature at long odds.
SELECTIONS: Tezoff to win.

MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 6 @ 3:15 PM

KURLANSKY (1) has placed at Newcastle both race-starts and four winners have come out of the latest. He's trialled nicely since and is the one to beat leading or box-seating from the handy barrier. TUPOU (7) had trialled well and resumed in good order. Placed the only second-up run and has more to give. Is a decent chance from the low gate. CHAREADY (2) owned a trial win but had no luck at all on debut at Scone. Did well to just miss the placings and quick improvement is on the cards. SWIFT TUTTLE (11) debuts for a hot yard and improved in the most recent trial. Gets a wide gate but gets the go-to hoop and keep very safe.
SELECTIONS: Backing Kurlansky to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 3 @ 5:35 PM

ENRIQUE (1) got back and just missed the hat-trick at Ipswich over the mile. He can sit closer and the longer trip suits. The one to beat. INCENTIVISE (2) won the Maiden here by 3.3L at the mile and can go on with it now. ISABELLA'S SPRING (3) won the Doomben Maiden comfortably two-back and then found one much too good over the middle distance. Has to come back 350m but draws to advantage and can handle it. ALIRAAJ (4) will be much better second-up and has the figures to be competitive. SELECTIONS: Backing Enrique.
