Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for May 6.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Warrnambool, Wagga, Townsville and Pinjarra.
WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 8 @ 3:15 PM
FIGHTING HARADA (6) has had a break after winning at Bendigo and before that at Sandown. Comes here looking just as good. INDISPENSABLE (7) scored at Ballarat about a month ago. The form reads well to be in the finish. ADELAIDE ACE (4) could do a whole lot more but with natural ability can be in this finish. SAVAHEAT (3) had a really good preparation last time around and can go well first-up. Goes in trifectas and quaddies.

WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 6 @ 1:50 PM
TOORADIN (7) did well first-up over 1400m and coming here to 1700m should hold no fears for backers first-up. PRES DE TOI (10) is a consistent customer but might find a couple stronger. Goes in trifectas. DELIGHTFUL SCOOP (11) is goes really well and could be the value runner if you're looking. Has form around Lunch Session which reads well. DOGMATIC (1) is at the right stage of the prep to win. Covered extra ground last start at Ballarat and the wider spaces here will suit again. SMOKIN' PIERRO (6) had excuses at Caulfield as well. Likely to find a few stronger but goes in exotics.
SELECTIONS: Tooradin the win and a saver on Delightful Scoop the place.
WAGGA: RACE 1 @ 12:20 PM
NEPHRADIVA (4) couldn't have been more impressive on debut when saluting by over four lengths at Albury. Drawn perfectly in the inside gate and will have taken plenty of benefit from that first-up victory. Looks the hardest to beat. IMPACT STAR (2) improved sharply last time out when winning at Port Macquarie. Prior to that he had competed in a Listed race at Wyong. Looks the main danger. MORTAL WITNESS (1) was a handy winner over this track and trip last start and can go on with it now. VERBEK (8) wasn't disgraced on debut and gets the services of Tommy Berry. In the mix. PARTICIPATOR (7) best of the rest on the back of a solid trial.
SELECTIONS: Nephradiva to win.
TOWNSVILLE: RACE 2 @ 1:19 PM
INHISTIME (3) showed big improvement last time out when a close-up second over this course and distance. Will take plenty of benefit from that and can be right in the finish. GETITON (1) was a handy third over this track and trip on debut and only needs to reproduce that effort to be in the mix again. PALENCIA (2) will need to be kept safe on the back of a second in a Gold Coast trial. RUSTIC ROCKER (7) has placed two from four starts and is one for the multiples. SHAMARCHIE (8) can improve with recent racing and may earn some minor money.
SELECTIONS: Inhistime to win.
PINJARRA: RACE 4 @ 2:42 PM
GARAGE DAYS (4) resumes on the Scarpside and impressed beaten 2L coming from the back. He's improved and can go one better for a form barn with average luck in the run. STAR STORM (11) easily ran his best race leading and beaten 1L at Ascot. He will use the rail and with the extra fitness is a decent chance to go one better. YAWARDA (7) debuts and won his most recent trial. The market should say if he's up to winning. BARONOVA (12) has more to give off the first-up run at the mile. Draws well and is a contender.
