Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for May 25.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Kembla Grange, Armidale, Stawell and Rockhampton .
KEMBLA GRANGE: RACE 6 @ 3:40 PM
MARCASSIN (9) wins this at best and came back to racing a gelding winning the Goulburn Maiden (heavy). He'd been away from racing 320 days and has plenty up the sleeve. Gets the blinkers first time and wins at best. LIVEINTHEFASTLANE (1) presents off a Group 3 at the mile and just missed at Randwick in Open grade prior. Has plenty of weight but gets Berry and should go close. Stablemate AUBURN BOY (10) gets in light this grade and with the 3kg claim and his figures are good enough to give him a chance. CELTIC LOVE (2) has more to give second-up and won't be far away.
SELECTIONS: With Marcassin.

ARMIDALE: RACE 4 @ 2:45 PM
JUSTINIAN (1) is a former Victorian back after 33 days for the new yard. Placed at Sale and Benella before the latest and McGuren's booking suggests he's on-song. Will win if he is. POWER RUNNER (6) was a bit disappointing the latest but the three before stack-up. Keeps the handy claim and has the speed to manage the outside gate. MIZ MOSLEY (3) improved to place here the latest and the longer sprint will suit. Has claims reaching peak fitness. TERRE DI BACCIO (10) has switched yards and has been freshened. The form stacks-up and keep very safe.
SELECTIONS: Backing Justinian if the money comes.
ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 5 @ 3:12 PM
EVEREADY (6) ran well last fresh when second at this track over 1100m. Fitter and looks the testing material off the low draw. KEEN AS A BEAN (9) is on the quick back up after finishing midfield on the Gold Coast over the weekend. Rates strongly here and looks a top hope if on the quick turnaround. ROMANTIQUE (10) finished among the placings last time when third at this track and should be further improved. Looks a clear danger again. SHE'S IMPERIAL (7) finished eighth last start, beaten 6 lengths at this track over 1200m. Better than that and worth including at odds. STORMWATER (3) comes here with definite each way claims.
SELECTIONS: Eveready on the nice return.
