Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for May 29.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Randwick, Belmont Park, Morphettville, Caulfield, Eagle Farm, Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Echuca.
RANDWICK: RACE 7 @ 3:05 PM
APRIL RAIN (3) got into a horrible position first up at Gosford but still did a great job to only go down narrowly. Can only improve off that and should be better suited getting out to 1300m. Drawn to settle closer this time and should prove hard to beat. KNIGHT (10) didn't handle the wet track prior to a break but his form in the lead up to that was very good and he has trialled nicely in the lead up. Should press forward and be in this for a long way. DREAM CIRCLE (5) won well at big odds first up and only looks to have to repeat that level of performance to be right in the finish again. CANASTA (2) the next in line in his return.
SELECTIONS: Very keen on April Rain second up.

BELMONT PARK: RACE 2 @ 12:42 PM
GRACEFUL GIRL (6) has a handy record and will be fitter for a closing second over 1100m first-up. Belmont and 1200m will suit her and she's hard to beat. HOT ZED (1) is hard to knock with five wins from his last six and held off Graceful Girl when they met last time. Has to be respected. TIMELY OUTBURST (5) is an up and comer who has only been beaten once in four starts. That was last start and while harder here she's worth thought. QUEEN BROWN (2) and DIVINE PAIR (4) are next best.
SELECTIONS: Graceful Girl to win. Trifecta 6-1,2,4,5/1,2,4,5.
MORPHETTVILLE PARKS: RACE 2 @ 12:00 PM
EN FRANCAIS (6) came from last to score with ease last month. She rounded them up and given her breeding, the added journey is only going to be a great benefit. MUSTARI (1) has raced well in his career to date. He too came from back as a winner at Gawler. Draws better here too. EXALTED CROWN (2) brings in Victorian form lines. One to watch if he starts here. SHE'S STYLISH (8) took on too hard a task in the Adelaide Guineas. This suits more.
SELECTIONS: Like En Francais.
CAULFIELD: RACE 6 @ 2:50 PM
HYPNOS (3) came across from New Zealand with strong form in the book but just ran a shade below that at Flemington. Not beaten far and could well be better for having had that Australian run now. He can beat YONKERS (4) who just missed in the Wagga Cup and had won by panels here the start prior. Former stablemate ANOTHER DOLLAR (1) is building into her campaign for Moody and this looks her day to peak with the blinkers going on for the first time. BEDFORD (5) was okay at Warrnambool and fitter for that.
SELECTIONS: Keen to be with Hypnos.
EAGLE FARM: RACE 1 @ 11:34 AM
FASHCHANEL (10) has put back to back wins together over this journey in Sydney, the latest scoring by 0.8 lengths. Building a solid record at this distance with two wins and two placings from six starts and can complete the hat trick. LUVOIR (5) kept chasing for second over 1600m in a Listed Race at Doomben last start. Suited back in trip with a win and a placing from two attempts. PROFIT (6) resumes having raced in good company last campaign. Placed at Listed level when resuming last prep and hasn't missed a place fresh. Has trialled so expecting a bold return. STARVIRGO (3) has each way appeal.
SELECTIONS: Fashchanel to make it three in a row.
GOLD COAST: RACE 5 @ 2:16 PM
NOBLE WAR (9) found the grade too tough in town two starts back before running a better race last time. Looks well placed in this company and should go close. LIZA WITH A ZEE (2) has returned to racing this campaign in excellent order. Should be prominent throughout. Rate highly. HALLOWED DREAMS (4) has filled the quinella position in each of her four runs this campaign. Won't be far away at the business end. BEFANA (12) is rarely too far from the money in a race of this nature and is worthy of each-way thought.
SELECTIONS: Back Noble War.
TOOWOOMBA: RACE 1 @ 5:05 PM
KEEP ON LOVING YOU (6) has been very consistent of late placing in the top four at his past five starts. Goes well at this track and trip with two wins and two placings from five attempts and is drawn perfectly in gate one. Gets 1.5kg off with the claim and is clearly the one to beat. KATERU (2) has a good first-up record with a win and two placings from three starts. This easier than efforts prior to the spell and can be in it a long way. REST OF THE WORLD (5) was a solid winner here last time out and is in the mix. LINE UP (9) is a winner over this course and distance and must be included. ISSAQUAH (8) best of the rest on his win here two starts back.
SELECTIONS: Keep On Loving You to win.
ECHUCA: RACE 7 @ 3:49 PM
THAT SONG (2) tends to do some of its best work over this distance. Should be fitter for the run at Warracknabeal last time which somewhat made up for the luckless outing at Moe the run before. Can step up and win this. ZOUMAZE (13) broke the maiden here last start. Had to race wide for some of the trip so the effort was commendable. Sticks to the same trip and won't surprise if it is in the finish. MAMELON (14) placed behind Sleek Acheeva last start who was engaged here earlier today. Is on the up and that form can convert. Not leaving out. A LONE HERO (1) overcame trouble at Werribee in April to place first-up. Followed up with an ok effort at Pakenham. Goes in trifectas here. Forget the second-up effort of MISS KANSAS (10) last prep. Placed last start at Bairnsdale and although it might find a few stronger in this, can be included in exotics.
SELECTIONS: Mamelon each-way if the odds allow.
