Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 3.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Wyong, Wangaratta,Townsville and Carnarvon.
WYONG: RACE 6 @ 3:10 PM
Looks a winnable race for SMART SUCCESS (5). Has a good record over this journey with a win and two placings from three attempts and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Looks the hardest to beat in this field. OAKFIELD ARROW (6) hasn't been far away at her past couple and will be nearing peak fitness for this. Drawn well for Bullock in gate two and from an astute stable. Looks a major player. TEMOIN CHAUD (2) goes well for Owen who has had two steers for a win and a placing. Has won at the distance and can be right in the finish. LEISA LOUISE (3) is as honest as they come never missing a top five finish in nine starts to date. Gets 1.5kg off with the claim and has to be included in exotics. DREAMING OF GOLD (1) is a last start winner and gets 3kg weight relief. In the mix.
SELECTIONS: Smart Success to win.

WANGARATTA: RACE 4 @ 2:00 PM
INYANGANI (11) got back and missed a lip at Kilmore making sharp improvement. Made a good impression and fitter can go one better at good odds. QUICK 'N' DANDY (12) was heavily-bet and was just nudged out at Donald on debut. The longer trip will suit her and fitter. She's feared. CRU CLASSE (10) had trialled well and the debut was solid after getting back. In good hands and can make quick improvement. BOYSZEE (2) gets a wide gate and will be better for the debut run at this trip. Has a future and keep onside.
SELECTIONS: Going with Inyangani each way.
TOWNSVILLE: RACE 5 @ 2:50 PM
UP THE RIVER (5) was just nudged out resuming an improved galloper before comfortably winning here this grade as favourite. The extra 291m should suit and he can deliver again. LEFKAS ISLAND (8) made a ratings spike winning the 60 at Mackay by a big space. Was up to the middle distance and is a danger building on that. REBEL LAKE (4) improved again winning the 70 at Home Hill heavily-bet. Won't be far away with a repeat. ODDFELLOW (9) hasn't won for a while but is racing well and can't be ruled out drawn for a soft run.
SELECTIONS: Backing Up The River.
