Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 4.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Pakenham Synthetic, Dubbo, Wagga and Sunshine Coast.
PAKENHAM SYNTHETIC: RACE 7 @ 4:00 PM
SUPER YULONG (1) brings strong form to resumption from better races. He's trialled sharply and given Melham's booking expect he'll be presented ready. Draws to advantage and will take plenty of beating. KERMY (4) was heavily-backed easily winning the Maiden on this surface and then came back and found one too good in a 64. He runs along and the stable is firing. A winning chance. TOVOLO GAP (9) resumes for the Moody yard and rates strongly at best. She has upside and has to be kept safe. GEN WINE (6) was heavily-bet winning the Maiden and has more to offer. Can't be ruled out.
SELECTIONS: Backing Super Yulong to win.

DUBBO: RACE 2 @ 12:40 PM
Looks a race where LEGAL ZOU (2) can finally break through. Has been very honest without winning placing in the top five at his past five starts. Placed at this track last time out and has placed over the journey. Looks the one they all have to run down. CANDY PANTS (4) was much improved last time out when third at Taree. Has placed four from ten over the distance and will be near peak fitness fourth-up from the spell. Looks a key player. TINTERN POWER (1) has placed at this track and will be rock-hard fit for this. Can fill the frame. LOZENGER (9) disappointed last start but go on good third two runs back. DISSISOUL (5) has placed two from three over this course and distance and is one for the exotics.
SELECTIONS: Legal Zou to win.
WAGGA: RACE 8 @ 4:05 PM
MAKE AN OFFER (8) was very good before the spell placing at four from five mainly at provincial level. Will find this much easier and has placed first-up before. Gets 2kg weight relief and looks very hard to toss. SMOKIN' SALMON (10) has a win and a placing from four attempts at this distance and is usually thereabouts. Has to be respected. CHOCCY GAF (3) has a win and a placing from two starts over this course and distance and can be right in the finish. VINNIE'S GIRL (11) broke through last start and can go right on with it now. PACKER'S BOND (2) has placed first-up and is one for the multiples
SELECTIONS: Make An Offer to win.
SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 9 @ 7:02 PM
VAMPIRINA DIAMOND (8) won a trial for the new yard (Healey) and delivered the Maiden by 7L first-up at Toowoomba. Was heavily-backed and has even stronger peaks in the CV. Draws low and can go on with it. SEDGEMOOR (1) placed first up for the new barn (Vandyke) and it was a decent effort. The leading hoop rides from a handy barrier and the gelding's a threat. TRIBUTE KING (2) is Kiwi-trained and resumes off a sharp Avondale trial. Had been racing at Group level over a trip but has won this distance and the blinkers are on first time. A betting watch. BAUHINIA BEANS (5) has just missed the last two and will use the rial. He's also a player.
SELECTIONS: Backing Vampirina Diamond.
