Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for April 6.

Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Bendigo and Tamworth.

BENDIGO: RACE 7 @ 4:30 PM

Hard to go past YARRA BOY (3) who made debut on heavy ground and wound up strongly to score an easy win. Showed good zip and expected to come right on. THE KRONE (2) makes return after nine months after tackling stakes grade before a break. Had a few tricks so can only be more mature this time around. INFINITE MATRIX (5) placed third by 1.1 lengths last start at Ballarat and should race on the speed, worth consideration. SUMMAROCA (7) has good early speed and can cross from wide out. Expected to take catching. REDWOOD SHADOW (1) resumes after missing a place in a Group 1 at the end of last prep. Watch here fresh.

TAMWORTH: RACE 3 @ 2:45 PM

C'MON AND LOVE ME (3) was well-supported on debut and didn't have the best of luck when finishing fourth here. Will take plenty of natural improvement from that experience and gets 2kg off with the claim. Looks the hardest to catch. ISHIM (11) was a very close runner-up two starts back and is drawn perfectly in gate one. Is trained on the track and looms as a main danger. HALF HINCH (1) has placed two from three and gets 2kg weight relief. Can't ignore. LIONSTEPS (6) has placed at this distance and will be fitter second-up. WATCHKEEPING (4) is from a good barn and must be respected on debut.
SELECTIONS: C'mon And Love Me to win.
