Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 24.

Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Kembla Grange, Moe, Townsville and Pinjarra.

KEMBLA GRANGE: RACE 1 @ 1:20 PM

STYLEBENDER (5) had been tracking well at the provincials before decent efforts in much stronger races at Rosehill. Finds a very suitable assignment. CONTRADEEL (3) was wide and plain third-up and best to go on the two close-up efforts here prior. Reaches peak fitness and is a serious player. LAMBARDI (4) has threatened the last two in country 58s and runs it right out. In the mix again. SPINPIX (8) brings solid efforts at the mile and is worth a look out to the middle distance with Penza sticking.

MOE: RACE 8 @ 4:00 PM

DUKE OF NEWORLEANS (3) is lightly-raced and is coming off a break. Has a good record and wasn't knocked about in recent trial. Worth keeping in mind. MOLLY GOLIGHTLY (10) was a Geelong winner three starts back and efforts since have been mixed. Suited against this lot and won't be too far away. STARDEN LASS (6) is coming back after a break. Is in the right yard and is well worth keeping a watch on. FUZZ BUZZ (11) is resuming. Showed plenty of promise at initial campaign and is worth keeping in mind fresh.
SELECTIONS: Back Duke Of Neworleans to win.

TOWNSVILLE: RACE 6 @ 3:52 PM

EBARAZ (1) has been good both starts since switching from Victoria. Draws well and is suited over the longer sprint. Gets a leading hoop for the apprentice and fitter is the one to beat. ROADHOUSE (5) resumes and goes fresh. Gets weight relief in this grade and the top hoop rides from a low barrier. Will have come on and expect a bold run. STRIKE A BEAU (2) is also third-up and has just gone under both runs. Is suited back in grade with the 2kg claim but has to manage the wide gate. NOIR JACK (9) made sharp improvement winning the Maiden second-up and can build on that. The wide barrier penalises but goes in at a big price.
