Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 25.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Ballarat Synthetic, Moruya, Rockhampton and Tamworth.
BALLARAT SYNTHETIC: RACE 6 @ 3:30 PM
THE MOBOT (4) is fast and was heavily-backed winning the 58 here easily a month ago. Keeps the handy 2kg claim and can deliver again for a top stable. JUST ABBEY (11) resumed here much improved winning the Maiden by 3L. Came back and was just beaten in the 58. Fitter and gets 4.5kg weight relief in this grade. On the improve and is a value chance. BETTER KICK (6) resumes and brings strong relative figures. Draws low and John Allen is a key jockey booking. Expect a bold return. A GOOD YARN (1) reaches peak fitness and won't be far away with the 2kg claim.

MORUYA: RACE 2 @ 12:35 PM
SUPRINA (10) has been very consistent placing in the top four at seven of her eight career starts. The only time she missed the frame was in a much harder race at Flemington. Drawn to get a perfect run from gate one for Guymer and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Is clearly the one they all have to run down. AREEBA SPIRIT (5) has been thereabouts without winning but has placed over this journey and gets the services of McDougall in the irons. Can be right in the finish. WILKSHIRE (11) has drawn handily in gate two and gets 4kg off with the claim. In the mix. AUTOBAHN (6) is a former Kiwi having her third run in the country and is a massive watch. LITTLEFOOT (2) is from a good barn and must be respected on debut.
SELECTIONS: Suprina to win.
ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 5 @ 3:27 PM
NAMAZU (1) is ex Godolphin and resumes for the new yard. Only had the one run last campaign beaten 3.5L at Newcastle well-supported. Would be winning this at best and gets the winkers first time and a leading hoop. MAESTOSO (3) will be better for the first-up run at the Sunshine Coast and has plenty to give off that. Draws well and has placed second-up. BLONDE'S DAY OUT (2) has been threatening and will be around the mark with the 2kg claimer going on. TRAQ (4) was much better with the blinkers on again and fitter is in the mix. VENTURES BENIR (7) has won and placed the last two and gets to peak. Next best.
SELECTIONS: With Namazu if the money comes.
TAMWORTH: RACE 4 @ 2:05 PM
MINNITI (10) has done everything but win placing at all four starts to date. Has placed two from two over this distance and on Good and Soft going. Looks ready to finally break through. LORD BRONN (3) is a model of consistency placing in seven of ten starts and gets the benefit of the 3kg claim. Will be nearing peak fitness now fifth-up from the spell and looks a major contender in a race like this. KEGSTAR (9) closed off last campaign with a close-up second at this track and can be right in the finish. HEAD ABOVE (8) has placed two from three attempts over this journey and can earn some minor money. ARCANE ENERGY (7) is best of the rest on the back of her handy third on debut.
