Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for July 11.
Major meetings are today held at Sunshine Coast, Ballarat, Hawkesbury, Kalgoorlie and Grafton.
SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 5 @ 2:59 PM
STOCKMAN (3) comes up from Sydney where he was a last start Rosehill winner. Not meeting an overly strong field and has placed in three of four starts at the trip. Must be considered. WU GOK (1) is mixing form. Has been thereabouts in recent efforts, but is a dual winner at the trip. Not without some claims. FLASH AAH (4) has been racing well of late. Faces a rise in trip this time but may be the fresh horse on the scene. Consider. HAPPY GO PLUCKY (2) scored in the Ipswich Cup before producing a sound effort in Grafton Cup on Thursday. Won't be too far away here. SELECTIONS: Back #3 Stockman to win.

BALLARAT: RACE 4 @ 2:15 PM
PARISIAN DANCER (10) stuck to her task well on speed last start when going down narrowly first up. She started favourite on that occasion and looks suited to go one better here with added fitness in a race that looks to lack speed on paper. She can go close on her home track. ATOMIC ROCK (1) has placed at three of his four runs to date including a narrow defeat last start with a good gap to third. He gets the Blinkers on here and should be suited out to this trip. Consider. MAREE DE LUNE (9) will take plenty of improvement from her first up run and this distance suits at this stage. Include. SELECTIONS: #10 Parisian Dancer can go one better.
KALGOORLIE: RACE 2 @ 1:34 PM
CUBAN TWIST (1) was just beaten twice at Belmont before a plainer effort the same venue. He races handy and is suited with the 3kg claim. Rates to win. PINK AND PURPLE (7) also peaks and brings strong figures. The local should go close. Stablemate MAGIC WILL REIGN (2) presents on 7-day return and also a winning hope. Finds easier and the 2kg claim benefits. MAJOR MAMBO (3) comes out of the same race and the longer trip suits. The sprint win two-backs reads well. SELECTIONS: With #1 Cuban Twist.
WODONGA: RACE 3 @ 2:25 PM
BOMBERZ TOYZ (2) has just gone under the last three from the speed. There was a lip in it the latest at this trip and should be breaking through with a judicious ride crossing from the wide gate. AMERIPARK (1) has to come back from a middle distance but is drawn to advantage and going well enough to place. GRINZINGER HULK (12) will be better for the debut run on the heavy. Draws outside but is likely to have more upside than most of these. PHAKISA (5) got closer at Albury settling back but what the claimer does from the rail is the query. SELECTIONS: Backing #2 Bomberz Toyz to win.
ALICE SPRINGS: RACE 1 @ 1:11 PM
NOBLE ALBERT (2) deserved the Maiden win racing favourite. Gets the leading hoop today for the apprentice and can win again using the low gate. ZELRING (4) resumes and won his best race two-back winning the 58. Placed fresh before that and will have come on. DESERT LASS (5) was much better second-up and finally gets a low gate. Fitter now and is a chance. MEDIATED (7) was good two back and won't be far away with a repeat of that. SELECTIONS: Keen on #2 Nobel Albert.
