Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on August 4.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Randwick Kensington, Moe, Eagle Farm and Belmont Park.
RANDWICK KENSINGTON: RACE 4 @ 2:35 PM
KUTAYHA (2) won well in his last outing swooping on rivals late for an impressive victory. Expect him to present in similar condition and the rise in trip suits. McDonald sticks and looks a massive chance to be a winning combination again. TIME RAID (4) faded out of the race sharply in his last run after setting a hot tempo. Will be looking to lead again from a nice draw and gets the services of Hugh Bowman who has placed aboard prior. Expect a return to form. YUKON (5) has taken improvement from each of his runs this preparation and should be cherry ripe for this. Should appreciate the return to a firmer surface on which he has won both of his career starts. Drawn well and expect him to be thereabouts at the concluding stages. MAJOR ARTIE (1) ran a better race in his last outing when finishing third at Rosehill on July 24. Will have taken benefit from that run and can return to his best. Each way hope.

EAGLEMONT (2) was gelded and did a big job placing first-up at Sandown at the mile. The former Irish galloper brings very strong figures this distance range and John Allen replaces the apprentice. Fitter he should be taking this out for the top barn. ADONIS KICK (7) will be better for the two runs back and has plenty up the sleeve. Draws for a soft run and is a serious player. EXALTED CROWN (10) found one much too good at Ballarat but improved his form and he gets a low gate today and a leading rider. He's going well enough to make the finish. STAR INES (12) gives himself every chance and has been threatening in lesser grade. Include with the big weight dip.

EAGLE FARM: RACE 6 @ 4:03 PM
SHORT SARA (3) quickly found form winning the 60 comfortably at Ipswich. Gets in well with the 3kg claim and fitter can go on with it. BLACKBOOTS (6) rates similarly off the first up near-miss at the same track. Was heavily bet and she will also have come on. Should go close. CONTESSA (7) resumes for Waller and has trialled well at the Gold Coast. May need one but Orman's booking is a decent push. AGENT OF CHAOS (5) comes up from Sydney and go on the first-up Maiden win at Kembla Grange. She has more to give and has to be considered.

BELMONT PARK: RACE 6 @ 3:35 PM
CONQUERED ZONE (3) here this trip for the top yard running his best race. The leading hoop sticks and the gelding rates to go right on with it. NEXT STOP THE MOON (2) was beaten a lip here behind the above and then was on speed again and faded right out. Gets a better gate today and the claim remains handy. Is worth another chance. MOOD GODDESS (4) has needed the two runs back and has stronger back-form. Fitter she can't be ruled out. SALON DU CHEVAL (1) is a former Victorian having his third run for the Parker yard. The first-up effort suggests he has the ability.
