Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings today are held at Sale, Devonport, Sunshine Coast, Swan Hill, Nowra, Naracoorte, Tamworth and Kalgoorlie.

NARACOORTE: RACE 1 @ 12:35PM

CLEVER MAN (1) should take some beating here he was an impressive winner three starts back then ran well behind Bear Arms on a heavy track before a solid effort behind Muntham Missile last time. He gets in well after the claim. SOSTENIDO (5) comes off a good run behind Aussie Sojourn at Gawler last week, he draws a good gate and looks the danger. BEACH GOD (3) was runner-up behind Lutz at Balaklava five starts back and his recent form has been OK for this. IRONICAL (4) was placed at Balaklava two starts back behind Smiling Assassin and comes out of the city race won by Muntham Missile. JUST ROLLING (2) drops in class and draws the inside gate with the blinkers off.

SELECTIONS: Clever Man looks too good for these.

NOWRA: RACE 1 @ 1:00PM

BACIO DEL MIST (4) was a dominant winner at Goulburn last start and rises in trip once again. Draws well and a repeat effort will see her hard to beat. LINDEN TREE (3) was only 3L away in tougher company at Hawkesbury last time out. Aided by the booking of Alysha Collett and the inside draw. Leading chance. DOM TYCOON (1) charged away to win easily over this distance at Goulburn last start. Goes up in weight but is better suited to a Good surface. Won't be far away. SPINPIX (8) has been around the mark in her past three at provincial level. The in-form Matthew Cahill takes the ride, and is to be kept safe back to country grade. APPETIZING (2) faded out of the race last start at Wyong and is much better suited to this level. Fit and merits respect.

SELECTIONS: Bacio Del Mist to make it two wins in-a-row.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 2 @ 1:30PM

TAVISAN (5) has switched from Melbourne and resumes for the new barn (Kris Lees). He's a well-performed Listed and Group galloper who wins this comfortably presented on-song. He's won both lead-up trials and the speedy galloper's fresh record is sharp. KALIK (3) resumes and two-back was just nudged out at Eagle Farm in an 80 and has trialled well for the resumption. He runs along and can make the finish if on-song. PLENTY (4) finished alongside Blue Odyssey but gets back and always needs some luck.

SELECTIONS: Backing Tavisan.

SALE: RACE 4 @ 2:05PM

GOONDIWINDI (3) looks well placed to break through first up. He placed on debut in this distance range behind Rosseau who went on to win in Saturday grade. He can settle just behind the speed and looks to have more upside than his rivals here. QUINDI PENSI (6) has placed at his past two runs including last start at this track behind the impressive Gate Crash who looks capable of winning more races. He looms as a danger. THE BLACK PANTHER (7) improved sharply back on top of the ground last start at this track and is worth including with similar conditions likely for this race. BARON OF BEDFORD (2) has been thereabouts in three runs back from a spell and is suited in this distance range. Keep safe. THE WATCHMAN (8) has mixed his form this time in but is best of the rest.

SELECTIONS: Goondiwindi is the one to beat.

TAMWORTH: RACE 3 @ 2:36PM

Looks a race where SWISS SCENT (4) can finally break through. Has been a model of consistency without winning only missing the top four once in seven starts. Placed two from two over this journey and doesn't face an overly strong contest here. Rates highly and will take catching. The well-named HEMSWORTH (1) was well found on debut and wasn't disgraced when third at this track. Will have taken benefit from that race day experience and looks a genuine player. ICIAFOX (6) is starting to get the hang of things placing at his past two starts. In the mix. EEZEE BOOMER (2) will appreciate the drop in grade after finishing down the track at Newcastle last start. Keep safe.

SELECTIONS: Swiss Scent to win.
