DUBBO: RACE 9 @ 4:30PM

The feature race on the card, the $100,000 Dubbo Gold Cup. It's hard to fault the form of From The Bush (10) this time in with two wins and three seconds from five outings. Has won two from two at this circuit and goes well for Cavallo who has a win and a placing from two steers. Drawn to get a soft run and looks very hard to toss. READY TO HUMBLE (12) has bounced back to form at his past couple and must be respected having his first run for the new stable. Drawn perfectly for Penza in gate two and can play a big role in the finish. CINQUEDEA (2) is a two-time winner over the mile and is usually thereabouts. In the mix. WILD ROCKET (9) has won two from three over this course and distance and can fill the frame. HEZA GENTLEMAN (13) best of the rest on the back of two recent victories. SELECTIONS: From The Bush to win.

Dubbo Computer Card - Sep 12

CRANBOURNE: RACE 5 @ 2:40PM

Chart Buster (2) resumes from a spell having finished close up in all four runs to date, all on metropolitan tracks. Despite an awkward draw he looks ideally placed to break through. MANASA (9) has placed at two of her three starts to date including at this course prior to spelling. With natural improvement she looms as a danger on her home track fresh. BIXILON (1) has placed at his past two starts and is getting closer to a win. He'll make his own luck on speed and could take catching. SHIMURA (12) will strip fitter third up and is worth including in the exotics. SELECTIONS: Chart Buster looks one of the better bets on the card.

COFFS HARBOUR: RACE 3 @ 2:20PM

Rockbarton Roman (5) has looked very good placing in both starts to date and is nearing a victory. Drawn perfectly in gate two and will be near his peak third time at the races. Blinkers go on for the first time and looks very hard to beat. DALGARNO (4) is a former Victorian having his first run for the Doyle camp and revved up for this with a handy Gosford trial. Sure to play a role in the finish. TING TONG (6) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown enough at the trials and is from a good yard. Has to be respected on debut. KENNYSING (8) wasn't disgraced on debut and gets the benefit of the 2kg claim. In the mix. AL BE PURPLE (7) put in a career-best performance last time out when a solid second at Port Macquarie. One for the multiples. SELECTIONS: Rockbarton Roman to win.

DONALD: RACE 3 @ 1:40PM

Hitotsu (12) is a talented colt who tackled tougher class before a break. Lines up for new stable. Should go close here. LITTLE FAIFO (6) has had her races well spaced to date. Effort was sound when resuming at Echuca last time. Fitter here and has to be considered. COMMANDER HARRY (11) is a three-year-old gelding from the Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young stable on debut. Will pay to watch for any positive betting moves. SELECTIONS: Back Hitotsu to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 6 @ 3:43PM

Ovidius (6) is speed-bred and progressive. Has just been nudged out both starts back in stronger class and keeps the in-form 3kg claimer. Fitter he's the one they have to beat. HEART VANDELAY (5) missed a lip this grade first-up and then made a ratings spike beaten 1.4L in a Toowoomba CL3. That reads strongly and he's a live hope despite the weight lift at this level. SHAJAEA (9) found one too good first-up and then won the Maiden comfortably. He has the speed to manage the outside gate and is in the mix. COPPER SUNSET (1) has a 3kg claim and will push forward. He won't be far away with a repeat of the Warwick run two-back. SELECTIONS: Backing Ovidius to win.

OAKBANK: RACE 7 @ 4:45PM

Canidae (2) was a Balaklava winner four starts back and wasn't far away behind Lomax at Murray Bridge up in class last time. IMPULSE DIAVOLO (1) races well here and comes in fresh and draws a good barrier. APPLIED (4) was OK when resuming behind Fight For Freedom at Murray Bridge and should be thereabouts. HAHNDORF (9) is one from one here and draws a nice barrier to be right in the mix. SELECTIONS: Canidae to win.
