Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for September 28.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Grafton, Queanbeyan, Kilmore and Yeppoon.
GRAFTON: RACE 7 @ 4:40 PM
RAPIDS (1) boxed seated and was far too good when heavily bet fresh. Fitter and aided by the longer trip and the claim. Worth following up. DELIBERATION (2) was an all the way maiden winner two back then skipped a grade and gave a sight latest. Back a class here and will take catching while in hot form. WINE O'CLOCK (4) is on a quick back up after disappointing here last time where he drew off the track. Previous form is good for this and worth another chance. WANDZEL (5) was also disappointing in that same race and is another who can do much better. RUBICK'S COMMAND (11) is next best.
SELECTIONS: Stick with Rapids.

GRAFTON: RACE 8 @ 5:20 PM
BOLD CONTENDER (1) broke the maiden here two back when dug deep then went settled last after a slow start and made late ground last time. Much better than that and capable of going close here despite the draw. HAYATE (5) closed off nicely when beaten 2 lengths last time here. Likely to prove hard to hold out again. ABOVE THE LOT (4) has been thereabouts in two runs back from a break. Has an inform rider booked and the inside draw. Looks tough to hold off late. MISS PIERPOINT (15) is a 25 start maiden but is rarely far away. Has three placings from nine starts this prep and finished 4 lengths off the winner last start at this track. Worth including at odds. SOLAR SUCCESS (12) took control a long way from home last start when she scored a stylish win at this track. Can run well again.
SELECTIONS: Backing Bold Contender straight out in the last.
QUEANBEYAN: RACE 6 @ 3:45 PM
NEPHRADIVA (5) resumes for a top barn and go on the 4.3L all-the-way debut win at Albury. Was a late scratching here at the last meeting fancied. Is ready to go and has the speed to make short-work of the sticky barrier. She will have come on and will take beating. BROTHERS OF ANTRIM (1) races handy and was spelled after a disappointing run as favourite. Prior to that was beaten a nose at Wagga first-up in this grade. He rates strongly and Cahill sticking is a positive lead. WHITE LIAR (2) was on-speed winning the Maiden here first-up. The lightly-raced mare had been building to that and draws low with the 2kg claim is a chance to go on. ALL TIME MISCHIEF (3) resumes and goes well fresh and at this track. The veteran has been away a long while but is worth a look.

KILMORE: RACE 6 @ 3:30 PM
MYSTIQUE FALCON (3) didn't have much luck at Sale and then was too good on the synthetic backed again. In the premier yard and the blinkers are on again and the apprentice will ride off a handy gate. She can go on with it. CONFUSION (2) has been racing in Adelaide in stronger class. Has the handy claim and expect him to be very competitive in this line-up. SUBLIME DIVA (6) Has support over the mile on resumption and got too far back. She's placed 2/2 second up and can feature with a good ride. ANIKERY (4) need the first-up run and will be better this trip. In line to fill a minor slot.

YEPPOON: RACE 3 @ 2:57 PM
ADDRESS UNKNOWN (4) is overdue for a win and went close here last time when went forward and stuck on well for over 1100m. At peak and looks hard to beat. FACTOR THAT IN (1) is a five-year-old gelding from the Stephen Rundle yard on debut today. Well fancied after placing at his most recent trial here. Watch closely. REFUTATION (7) has five placings from 15 starts this campaign and finished 10 lengths off the winner last start at this track. Better than that and drawn for a good run. MERIDA'S BOW (2) looks a genuine hope first-up.
