Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Randwick, Geelong, Ipswich,Balaklava and Geraldton.
RANDWICK KENSINGTON: RACE 7 @ 5:30 PM
ITA (6) has been racing in career-best form putting three wins together on the bounce. Baker has been taking her through her grades and she is racing full of confidence now. Hard to beat again. Former Northern Hemisphere galloper MAYFAIR SPIRIT (2) has been improving with racing and will be near peak fitness now. Looks a danger. KHAALIS (10) wasn't disgraced when fourth over this track and trip last time out and looks a genuine top-three contender. KINGSHEIR (1) has only missed a drum twice in eight outings and is a winner at this circuit. In the mix. CHATEAUX PARK (8) won over this course and distance last start and is a must for the multiples.
SELECTIONS: Ita to win.

GEELONG: RACE 7 @ 4:30 PM
NARVAEZ (3) was only narrowly beaten when resuming at Sandown in a good race. Now finds easier and can only be better for having had that run. Stable are having a great time of it at the moment (when aren't they?) and he will make his own luck up in the first couple. Lots to like. BRASADA (7) has been racing well in similar and should be around the mark again along with MR CANCUN (2) who improved last time and now gets the blinkers on. Betting the key to the Kiwi DOTHRAKI (10). Looks to have the talent to measure up.
SELECTIONS: Backing Narvaez.
IPSWICH: RACE 7 @ 4:38 PM
DOCTOR TEEKAY (6) has won here both runs back and delivered by 4L in a CL1 the latest. He's promising and can make another ratings spike. WHOZYADEELER (4) is also progressive and wasn't beaten far first-up at Eagle Farm as favourite. He's since won a Doomben trial by 2L and fitter will go close for the State's premier barn. DALTORO (1) was beaten 1L second-up in better grade at The Farm and the longer sprint suits. He has more to give and is also a chance. RIP CITY (8) raced handy winning the CL2 at the Sunshine Coast. That stacks up and he can't be ruled out down in the weights with Fradd steering from a low barrier.
SELECTIONS: Backing Doctor Teekay to win.
BALAKLAVA: RACE 6 @ 4:15 PM
OUTPOST (7) resumed further improved when beaten a lip from the back in town in better class. Has a 3kg claim and draws for a soft run. Fitter he'll go close. PIVOTAL FORCE (5) had no luck at all in the same race but just missed twice prior and they are the benchmark. Keeps Vorster and is a winning chance. HI SMOKEY (2) gets to peak fitness and go on the lip defeat two-back at Gawler. Drops in grade and is a player. IT'S A SHAME (8) resumes and has placed 2/3 fresh. He's shown enough to be considered.
SELECTIONS: Backing Outpost
GERALDTON: RACE 4 @ 3:35 PM
DANCE COCKEY (2) has been busting to win in much stronger races. Chased on solidly at Belmont the latest and gets in well with the 3kg claim. Races handy and will take beating. STARTRADE (1) resumes with a 2kg claim. He's a course specialist who's won 3/4 this trip. Expect the improver to be ready to go this time around. LA CHIAVE (3) resumes off country runs and is good fresh. Her figures at this track and trip stack up and expect her to go well. LORDING (4) raced in the city last preparation and got close on a number of occasions. He will have come on and is a first up winner who has to be kept safe.
SELECTIONS: Backing Dance Cockey to win.
