Plenty of action this Sunday with meetings held at Bendigo, Ballina, Sunshine Coast, Port Lincoln, Northam, Bairnsdale.

BAIRNSDALE: RACE 2 @ 1:00 PM

FLIKIDY FLICK (3) turned in an eye-catching run on debut at Sale. Will be improved by the experience and was scratched from a race at Moe on Thursday. Looks up to winning this. BOND OF TRUST (1) is returning from a very long break and is in new yard. Obviously has ability but also plenty of problems. Pay to watch betting. WEWANDA (9) has made her way down from Queensland where form was mixed. Not an overly strong affair here and must be respected. LITTLE BROTHER (10) was never a factor at only run before a break. Meets an even bunch here and first-up is worth some thought. SELECTIONS: On the strength of his debut back #3 Flikidy Flick to win.

BALLINA: RACE 7 @ 5:10 PM

MORE THAN BUTTONS (3) finally shed the maiden tag last time out and will take plenty of confidence from that victory. Stower was in the irons for that win and sticks. Drawn to get some cover from gate four and is expected to be right in the finish. NOTEABLY (9) was another to break through last start and can go right on with it now. In the mix. FU HAO (15) has placed at this track and will be rock-hard fit for this. Looks an each-way hope. MONICA'S CIGAR (8) gets the services of Looker from the low gate and can show up while fresh. PHIL'S DREAM (6) best of the rest on the back of a last-start win. SELECTIONS: #3 More Than Buttons to win.

BENDIGO: RACE 8 @ 5:30 PM

AMERICAIN ANGEL (12) wasn't disgraced in the Group 1 Australasian Oaks prior to spelling having come off placings as favourite behind Smokin' Romans and Brookspire prior to that. She's finished second at both first up runs to date and can go one better here fresh with natural improvement. MANASA (14) is lightly raced and progressing nicely. She was a strong Maiden winner last start and with natural improvement she warrants plenty of respect. GLAMDAM (18) has ability on her day and can add value to the multiples first up from a spell. TILL IT'S OVER (14) was a narrow winner on debut over this distance range and appeals on an each way basis fresh. Keep safe. SELECTIONS: #12 Americain Angel looks too classy first up.

NORTHAM: RACE 7 @ 4:30 PM

STARLIFT (1) brings terrific form and keeps improving. Won this grade here heavily-bet the latest and can deliver again drawn low and with the handy 2kg claim. BEANIE (6) hasn't won for a while but is threatening and gets in well with the 2kg claim. A player. WORTH A RISK (2) resumes off Listed grade and has won fresh. She's capable and will control the race. She's trialled well and should race boldly with the 3kg claim. STELLAR VISTA (5) just missed resuming at Belmont in the CL1 as favourite and has more up the sleeve. Draws out but Chris Parnham sticking helps offset that. Fitter and a genuine hope. SELECTIONS: Going with #1 Starlift.

PORT LINCOLN: RACE 5 @ 3:15 PM

Looks a winnable race for JUSTICA (3). Has a handy first-up record with a win and two placings from three outings and goes well for Toeroek. Drawn to get a cozy run from gate three and rates the testing material. ISA SECRET (2) was in career-best form before the spell with two wins and four placings from six starts to close out the campaign. Gets 3kg off with the claim and can go very close while fresh. LA PETITE ROUSSE (4) will strip fitter third-up from the spell and has to be included. SCARY GO ROUND (6) has two wins and three placings from eight attempts at this sprint trip and is one for the exotics. SANDSATION (5) gets 2kg off and can earn a cheque. SELECTIONS: #3 Justica to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 5 @ 3:00 PM

BRONZE DRAGON (7) had been well-trialled and missed a whisker at Ipswich on debut. A top hoop sticks from that and rides from an advantageous gate. Fitter the gelding is the one to beat. IDLING BY (14) has placed both runs back and has plenty up the sleeve. She draws for a soft run and will be right in it finding her best. TUSCAN GAZE (1) has switched from the Waller to the Fogden barn and the trials have been sharp. He gets the premier hoop and is good enough. UZERLI (12) is fit and hasn't been far away. Gets a soft run from the low gate and the blinkers are on again. In the mix. SELECTIONS: Backing #7 Bronze Dragon.
