Looks a winnable affair for FUMIKO (5) who is well in the betting for the Four Pillars later this month. Powered home to win first-up at Wyong and McDonald was in the irons for that victory and sticks. Sure to get a cosy run from gate three and looks the one to beat. JUAN DIVA (2) returned in fine fashion with a close-up second at Gosford and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Looms as the main danger. LADY OF LUXURY (6) doesn't win out of turn but is usually thereabouts and can earn a cheque. MOLLY NAILS (4) goes well over this journey with a win and a third from two attempts. One for the exotics. JOYOUS LEGEND (3) best of the rest from the low draw.

THE BIG GOODBYE (4) switched from SA and didn't miss a beat third-up when missing a nose at Eagle Farm for the Heathcote barn. He will be better for that outing and has more up the sleeve. The one to beat. SIR WARWICK (3) is a leader who seeks the hat-trick third-up and keeps improving. Gets Byrne today and is sure to take pegging back. CONTESSA (7) was just nudged out by the above improving again and reaches peak fitness. Races handy and is an each way hope. VISTABELLE (9) switched from Melbourne to the Munce yard and placed second here behind Rich Lister with good support. She will be better for that and is well in the mix.

NORTHAM: RACE 7 @ 5:00 PM
BLACK FANTASY (6) raced handy and won the Maiden here before the 2L defeat at Belmont in better grade than this. Draws to advantage and will take beating reaching full fitness. MY FURY (9) had been threatening before delivering the 3L Maiden win at Belmont heavily-bet. She keeps the star hoop and is capable of taking the next step racing at peak. TIBETAN BLACK (7) won the Maiden here easily before coming back and disappointing -both at this trip. She can make the finish forgiving the latest. CIRCLE THE SUN (3) resumed at 1700m and ran into fourth. He has more to give and fitter can fill a slot.

SUPER THIEF (8) just missed at his debut on the slow track heavily-bet and then big money came again first-up when he proved much too good for the Maidens at Swan Hill. He's promising and fitter (and drawn well) should be winning again with McDougall sticking. CANADIAN GOLD (4) resumes with the blinkers on again and two-back placed in a Flemington Open 3. Won the only fresh run easily and she's a live hope back in grade. DUTY DYNASTY (6) is fast and resumes off a win and near-miss on the synthetic. Is sure to have come on and has to be considered. BLACK OPAL (3) resumes from the rail with a handy 2kg claim. Goes well fresh and is in the mix.
