Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 3.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Grafton, Kyneton, Launceston and Port Lincoln.
GRAFTON: RACE 5 @ 4:30 PM
DELIBERATION (7) held on nicely for his win last start and drops back to a more suitable distance here. Leading trainer/jockey combination makes him hard to beat again. TERRIUS (2) ignore his last two runs in better fields. Much better placed here and with the 3kg claim should take some catching. Watch closely. FRANKLIN CORNERS (4) has posted back to back winning performances. Up in grade here but top local jockey sticks with him and a wet track is no problem Can make it a hatrick. WEWONYA (8) made up plenty of ground over a sprint distance fresh up and is now out to a trip where she has won three times. At the veteran stage now but look for her late.

KYNETON: RACE 9 @ 5:15 PM
NIGHT PASSAGE (9) won the Ballarat 64 by nearly 7L and then ran along again and faded in a rich event at Horsham. Peaks now and Currie is back on. Will clear the gate okay and can bounce back. OCEAN'S THIRTEEN (3) is also fourth-up and was threatening before the latest outing. Gets the small claim and is a player back to the sprint off a freshen. Hard to risk the barn. IT'S KIND OF MAGIC (4) has plenty of ability and can fire third-up. She also runs along and Mott replaces the apprentice. KAMIEN (5) led and just missed at Moe and that reads well. Has the low barrier and the 3kg claim brings him right into it.

LAUNCESTON: RACE 9 @ 10:00 PM
ASSARANCA (2) seeks the hat-trick off two heavily-bet wins here this grade. Keeps getting better and can win again keeping the small claim. SO ASTOUNDING (8) is also a live hope and danger. Missed a nose behind the above second up and has more to give. Fitter and gets the run of the race from the rail. They are clear of FULL KNOTS AHEAD (4) who won by a space at Moe 51 days ago when spiking his figures over a staying trip. Can't be ruled out freshened-up back to the mile. SIR DA VINCI (1) will be better for the first-up outing at Hobart. He's a handy stayer who may need one more but this trip will suit him better.

PORT LINCOLN: RACE 1 @ 1:20 PM
All signs point to SPANISH HEIRLOOM (1) saluting here. Is unbeaten in three starts at this track and goes very well for Price who has four wins and a placing from just six steers. Drawn perfectly in gate one and rates the testing material in this line-up. RUBY'S REWARD (3) is a six-time winner at this circuit and is two from four when racing second-up from the spell. Looks a threat. MESSERSCHMITT (4) did place over this track and trip two back before tackling harder grade last start. In the mix. ATOMIC LOKADE (6) is one from one over this course and distance and can earn a cheque. The well-related ROCK HARD (5) best of the rest with the 3kg weight relief.
