Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for December 4.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Rosehill, Morphettville Parks, Ascot and Doomben.
ROSEHILL: RACE 4 @ 2:05 PM
MR MOSAIC (8) returns as a gelding and creates all the interest. Unbeaten first up (3/3) and looks very well treated down in the weights. Never fired on his home track and comes into this without a trial but this stable knows what they are doing. Clearly the one to beat. TYCOONIST (7) is arguably better over further but the booking of McDonald is key and he appears set to sprint well fresh. I AM POWER (4) has trialled well for his return and is more than capable on best form. Gets in well after the claim and has to be included in the main chances. WISDOM OF WATER (1) the next in line.
SELECTIONS: Very keen on Mr Mosaic.

MORPHETTVILLE PARKS: RACE 2 @ 12:52 PM
PERFECT ROUTE (1) deserves one more chance. He's not been racing badly of late but just found something better. If he gets the breaks at the right time he should be the one to beat. NONAME LANE (2) can't do much more than he has been. The question is stepping up to this journey. Will try to control if they go to this race. VICTORY BANDIT (5) rarely runs a poor one. She has backed up before and run well. DARLAMAX (3) has been contesting decent events in Victoria. Does race well here as well. FLOW METER (6) is a 12yo but as last start showed, he still wants to find the line.
SELECTIONS: Perfect Route just needs the luck to win.
ASCOT: RACE 5 @ 2:45 PM
COMFORT ME (6) was brave in defeat but no match for Western Empire in the Railway. Brilliant winner before that and is hard to beat here. STAGEMAN (4) is struggling to post a win but his form is excellent with a second in the Winterbottom last week. Gets back but should be charging as usual and can win. RED CAN MAN (5) is fitter for the two runs back and he will likely produce his best effort for the campaign. Keep safe. MASSIMO (3) and SOLAIA (7) can't be overlooked.
SELECTIONS: Comfort Me to win. Trifecta 6-3,4,5,7/3,4,5,7.
DOOMBEN: RACE 8 @ 4:28 PM
WANDABAA (2) heads north with strong form. Ran on for second in The Hunter at Newcastle last start after missing by 1.2L in a G2 in Sydney. Reaching her peak and the form is strong for this. Placed to win back against her own sex. MIAMI FLEISS (7) is an exciting filly who scored a commanding victory at Gold Coast over 1300m before going for a spell. That was her fourth win from just six outings and she has won two of three at this distance. Draws wide but has won a trial. LYRICAL GIRL (10) is going well having scored back to back wins here. Has a high cruising speed and is expected to be competitive. JUAN DIVA (15) should measure up off a last-start fourth in a G3 in Melbourne while ELOQUENTLY (11) just missed fresh and can progress.
SELECTIONS: Wandabaa looks well placed to win.
