The well-related MIDNIGHT OASIS (10) has been very consistent without winning placing in the top five in all five career starts. Has placed over this journey and will be near her peak now. Shapes as the one to beat. FOXWELL (2) has placed two from three and is drawn to get a soft run from gate five. Expected to play a role in the finish. FORTUNEOUS (8) has hit the top four in all five runs this time in and is a must for the multiples. FROMDUSTWEMUST (9) has placed at this circuit and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. In the mix. SKYE LOVER (13) best of the rest on the back of a last-start third at Mudgee.

KILCOY: RACE 3 @ 2:55 PM
HIDDEN SPRING (3) just won fresh up and then weakened late last start to finish fourth. He has plenty of speed and should be suited to this track. The 3kg claim is also a bonus. Hard to beat. ATOUCHOFSYN (4) is fresh up today and has the benefit of having had a recent trial to sharpen her up for this assignment. Her only win came on a wet track and she shouldn't be far away. REMEMBER MARY (2) unwound late to win on this track last start in what was a stronger field. The 2kg claim somewhat offsets the weight rise and her best form has been on wet tracks. Watch closely. SPIRIT ONE (1) resuming and has won in this condition before. She has wet track form and will be ready after winning a recent trial. Include in all multiples.

MORNINGTON: RACE 2 @ 2:00 PM
MADAM MAYHEM (10) peaks off the two placings and go on the 1L defeat at Geelong. She in on a 9-day return and expect her will run the middle distance right out. PAGADOR (4) was just pipped resuming over 1875m at Kyneton and has more to give. Has been briefly freshened and Mott is reunited. ROMANIA (5) raced equal favourite at Ararat and settled too far back from the wide gate. He will sit handy today and is going well enough to make the finish. CAPINO (6) is an improver in the mix.

MORNINGTON: RACE 8 @ 5:00 PM
MIDWEST (7) led and spaced the Maidens first-up heavily-bet. This fellow debuted as favourite in a Blue Diamond preview and has more to give. Has the handy 3kg claim and fitter should be winning again for a top barn. SNIPER LEGEND (5) resumes for the new stable and won and just missed the two starts last campaign at the NSW provincials on heavy tracks. He will be ready to go and draws to lead or box-seat. GOVERNOR LANDY (2) resumes and has been racing in stronger. The fresh form is good and he can't be discounted. AREYOULISTENING (9) missed a lip at Bairnsdale improving with the blinkers back on. He's been freshened and goes in at a price.
