FLEMINGTON: RACE 6 @ 3:55 PM
SQUID GAME (4) is an exciting galloper resuming from a spell. He won nicely on debut in town beating the handy Treporti when well supported before a win over the course and distance in good time. He ended the preparation down the straight with a close up third behind smart types Clemenceau and Sharp Response. He's the one to beat with natural improvement. CORKSCREW (1) has upgraded his form this time in with two easy wins in good time to kick off. He looms as a danger with more to come. Keep safe. WRITEY O'PAL (9) and HUNNAM (7) both finished close up behind the impressive Scissor Step last start which is good form for this. Both appeal on an each way basis. STAR PATROL (11) was a runaway winner first up when favourite. Although this is tougher he can measure up with added fitness.
SELECTIONS: Squid Game appears destined for better races.

RANDWICK KENSINGTON: RACE 4 @ 2:30 PM
Albury galloper BOSS LADY ROCKS (3) has been racing in fine fashion of late including winning her local Flat Knacker last time out. The start before that was a handy third at Moonee Valley over this sprint trip and gets 2kg off with the claim. Should be in it for a long way. The very well-related QUIET RIOT (2) didn't really come up last preparation but has shown he is back in good order with two trial wins and a last-start victory at Orange. This is sure to be harder but must be respected. GIRL MANIA (7) is as honest as they come only missing the top four once in nine starts, and that was in a Group 3. Gets some weight relief and draws the inside alley. A must for the multiples. STORMBORN (6) failed last start but the form prior was good enough to play a role in this. Don't underestimate.
SELECTIONS: Boss Lady Rocks to win.
GRACE DU ROI (2) is coming off a win at Pinjarra Scarpside over 1600m as the favourite and is in strong form with two wins from four attempts this prep. Rates as one of the main chances. GROUND BRAKER (5) finished in the middle of the field here last start following a bold second at this track over 1400m. Forgive his last start effort and give him another chance here in a field which suits. ACT INNOCENT (3) finished strongly to end up midfield last start at Pinjarra Scarpside after having little luck in the running, with clear air today she should be finishing over the top of her rivals. BIG SWOOP (7) led all the way to win b ya nose here last start and with jockey Shaun O'Donnell back in the saddle has solid each-way claims.
SELECTIONS: Grace Du Roi to win.
GOSFORD: RACE 2 @ 1:04 PM
MISS MAZ (6) resumes here but showed enough when last in work to warrant serious consideration in a race like this. Has placed two from two over this sprint trip and will be right there when the whips are cracking. EASILY OFFENDED (3) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and can run a race on debut. A TENDER LADY (4) has placed two from four over the journey and can earn some minor money. AVARICIOUS (5) has placed over this track and trip and is one for the multiples.
SELECTIONS: Miss Maz to win.
BATHURST: RACE 5 @ 3:51 PM
MYCAH LEON (11) has been racing at the provincials and was only defeated 2L at Kembla Grange the latest in Maidens. Peaks now and the extra 300m shouldn't bother. Suited and can break through. BRIDGES TO BABYLON (6) peaks and has been racing well without winning. SPEEDZONE (4) has been around the mark an forgiving the latest at Hawkesbury. Gets the blinkers again and a key jockey switch to Cahill and should see it out. Not sure the rail suits but she gets another chance.
SELECTIONS: Going with Mycah Leon.
BEAUDESERT: RACE 6 @ 4:23 PM
TEE AMICI (10) is fast and was just beat at Ipswich in stronger before racing favourite at the Gold Coast and folding right up. Prepared to forgive that effort and tipping he can bounce back and be winning. MIDNIGHT RAMBLER (3) has placed the last two and comes back a level. Looks a genuine chance with average luck pushing forward from the wide barrier. BIZOU (11) wasn't beaten far at Doomben in the CL3 making good improvement. Has a low gate and is in the mix. CAPODANNO (2) is a former Victorian who has good support but did nothing first-up. Thompson is booked and expect a much better effort.
SELECTIONS: Backing Tee Amici to win.
GAWLER: RACE 5 @ 3:37 PM
SASKATOON (7) is a former Victorian who hasn't been far away on debut for a red hot Jolly stable. Drawn to get every chance and should be right at it's top third up. Rates well, hard to beat. SECRET WAR (1) has three wins and three placings from his six starts here on his home track and races very well fresh. Drawn out but still shapes as the main danger. LOHN RANGER (8) the next in line in his return.
SELECTIONS: Backing Saskatoon.
KALGOORLIE: RACE 7 @ 4:45 PM
MEET JOE BLACK (2) has needed both his runs back this time in and will be peaking third up. He is wanting the mile and has more upside than most in this field. Inform apprentice Jett Stanley has a perfect record on him and should extend that tally today. DALGARANGA (6) is a consistent type and is seldom far away in this grade. His last start for sixth was a better run than it looks and stepping up to a mile should also be in his favour. Include in all multiples. SASSATIONAL (5) came with a sustained burst from last to win easily last time out, in what was her first show of form in thirteen starts on the track, She is just about impossible to catch but a repeat of that effort would see her just about winning again. Risky. THE VERDICT (1) won in this company two starts back and then didn't back up seven days later when finishing last. She has been given time to get over that effort and is well placed after the three kilo claim to make amends. Allow another chance.
SELECTIONS: Meet Joe Black win bet.
