Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for April 28.

Australian thoroughbred Tab meeting is today held at Wyong, Mornington, Pakenham, Mackay and Narrogin.

WYONG: RACE 1 @ 12:20 PM

AFRICAN DAISY (7) resumes here but showed enough when last in work to warrant consideration. Tuned up for this with two good Warwick Farm trials and looms as a player. GRACIOUS GRACIE (6) has placed five from ten overall including one over this journey. Strips fitter second-up and can fill the frame again. FASHION FORT (2) best of the rest in a race with only a handful of chances.
SELECTIONS: African Daisy to win.

MORNINGTON: RACE 2 @ 1:30 PM

OUTBACK ACTION (9) raced handy to the speed and tried hard on debut. Will be improved by the experience and is expected to give this a shake. KEEP YA DISTANCE (4) filled a place at his three runs before going for a break. Has placed in five of his 10 starts and is expected to be around the money again. MOENAVE (8) is coming off a break. Form at first campaign was mixed. Has been gelded since latest appearance and is worth keeping in mind. BE BE'S CANALLY (1) wasn't disgraced at only appearance before being put away. Drawn nicely here and is worth considering in multiples.
SELECTIONS: Back Outback Action to win.

PAKENHAM: RACE 1 @ 5:45 PM

DUN WARRIOR (3) looks hard to beat in the opener. Both career starts have been good over 1400m and he's clearly looking for further now. Up to 1600m looks ideal and expect he goes close. ANGEL OF LIGHT (6) looks the danger. She worked home well over 1400m here and should be suited out to the mile. DUBAI MOON (1) is still a maiden from fifteen starts but has run second on five occasions. He'll be better over a bit further but should be thereabouts. IDEAL MISS (7) rates a place chance off the back of some consistent maiden form.
SELECTIONS: Dun Warrior to win.

MACKAY: RACE 7 @ 4:12 PM

POLICE (2) switched form a Sydney barn and was a comfortable first-up Maiden winner heavily bet. He has plenty up the sleeve and fitter can take the next step with Wiggins sticking. RIVER DAISY (6) won the Maiden here first-up here and that also stacks up. Not sure the low gate will suit but the scratching leave fewer to get a round. MUSTAFA (1) led and missed a nose for the new barn first-up. Was at long odds but will be fitter and the ex NSW galloper has to be considered.
SELECTIONS: Backing Police to win.

NARROGIN: RACE 5 @ 4:05 PM

BAMBUN BOY (3) was a strong maiden winner two back at Pinjarra Scarpside before tackling a stronger race over 1800m at Ascot last time. He ran well there and looks very well placed in this event. BLAISZEN CAZAH (4) is racing well. He ran on solidly at York last time after a good win here prior. He should get a nice run from the gate. THE HAWKEYE (2) won well at Mt Barker two back and ran on well last time. He should be charging late again. BURN ONE DOWN (5) has a tricky draw but is racing well enough to figure.
SELECTIONS: Bambun Boy to win.
